Shaming ppl with online mugshots

I don't understand why they feel the need to put all these ppls' mugshots on the web and worse....to sell them.
Yes, That is public information. But, a LOT of these are young ppl who made a mistake.
Is shaming them a way to change them from there ways? perhaps for some. But, I find it sad that it is used as entertainment and business now.
It's just that we all make mistakes in life. It's hard enuff for the young ppl esp. why humiliate them anymore?
and is it just me or do they put more young ppl esp. females on the front cover to sell more magazines?
And putting ppls mug shots online is a sad shame too. again we all make mistakes, why do we need to
see other people at there lowest point? and of all things a photo of them at the low point in there life? I know plenty of good ppl who have been arrested in life. and most change there ways.
Either way, I do feel badly for them.

the guy who runs that rag is a loser. He didnt post his pic or any of his family when they got busted. Just another sleazeball trying to make a buck
