I think it is a shame that there are no laws in place to prosecute people who abuse and treat animals in such a cruel way. People who profit from the suffering of animals should face criminal prosecution. What a shame that Tennessee lags so far behind in treating animals with compassion. I applaud the people who have stepped in to help these poor creatures and try and save them. I have nothing but scorn for the woman who abused these dogs in such a horrific way. Come on Tennessee - pass some laws that will put people like her in jail where they belong.
