The bottom line is Don Imus cannot be replaced. CBS needs to admit their mistake and bring him back - our mornings are miserable without him and the gang.

Firing Imus was wrong headed and now the FAN is paying the price. Interesting that both Al Sharpton (Mormon) and Al Roker (Epilepsy) find themselves in the middle of controversy. Bad Karma?

I have found that ESPN's Mike and Mike put on a good radio and cable program. However, there is no replacing for Imus.

It's funny, in our local Maine area, a lot of lokel-yokel radio guys on WVOM 103.9 and other stations thought "oh boy, Imus is gone, we'll get better ratings and become stars!"

But if you don't have talent, it doesn't matter! I and all of my friends loved Imus - and it just really points out how bad the local boys are!

ALTHOUGH I'M NOT AN IMUS FAN, THE I-MAN BELONGS ON MORNING RADIO. WITHOUT HIM ON THE FAN, IT'S JUST A BORING MORNING SHOW. THE TUNA (MR FRANCESA) IS GREAT WITH MAD DOG RUSSO IN AFTERNOON DRIVE TIME BUT HE'S A DUD IN THE MORNING. IN ADDITION THE OTHER SUBS LIKE CHICAGO'S MIKE NORTH ALONG WITH THE POLITICOS MAKE FOR DULL MORNING RADIO. IMUS MADE AMENDS, HE APOLOGIZED, LET'S MOVE ON, SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST SO DAMN SENSITIVE TO NAME CALLING. GET OVER IT FOLKS!!!

Look, I apologized, profusely. I went on that weasel's radio show, Al Sharpton, and practically kissed his a**! They fired my buddy, Bernard McGuirk, too; now HE can't even get a radio gig in Boston, for Christ's sake!
Oh, I'm sorry about that religious slight. Man, my confidence is shot; now, I'm apologizing for EVERYTHING! I met with the girls, oh, excuse me, the young ladies, at the official home of New Jersey's Governor, Jon Corzine. Heck, it wasn't MY fault that the danged fool wasn't wearing a seatbelt, that night, on the Garden State Parkway! There I go, again, apologizing for something that wasn't even MY fault! To make up for that "nappy-headed..." uh, that comment I made on the radio, last spring, I bought season tickets for the Rutgers' Women's Basketball games, for next year. I guess THAT makes ME an athletic supporter, huh? I don't know what ELSE I can do to...to...to...oh, all right, I want my old job back! It's boring, sitting around, at home! My wife, well, I love her to death, but she's driving me right up the frickin' wall! Besides, truth be known, I REALLY had a "thing" for that Charles McCord
fella'. Man, he had the cutest, little, baby-blue eyes! No, I DIDN'T say that! I like women, I like women! I'm straight, I like women! But, but, but...Charles was...well...Charles was...sweet. Yes, sweet man, that Charles McCord. He and I used to go out to Fire Island, together...no, no, no, it WASN'T like THAT! I gotta' get back on the air, I gotta' get back on the air! People, you gotta' let me back into your cars; back into your homes! Dammit, I want my blasted mic, back!

Keep it up? Those two feeble, old codgers (like me!), can't even "get it up," anymore!!

We get Imus out of a NC station down here but now nothing - I'm on the road during the week and he, Bernie and the gang kept me entertained on the longest days. I hope they bring him back on satellite so I can hear him everywhere.

Petition: CBS Must Re-Hire General Batiste
http://tinyurl.com/2ekzrh

It took CBS two weeks to fire Don Imus for racist and misogynistic comments, but it only took them two days to fire respected General John Batiste for speaking out against the president on the war.
It's censorship, pure and simple. We're aiming to get over 100,000 messages demanding that CBS re-hire Major General Batiste by the end of the week. Can you help?

You can just stop looking because there isn't anyone that could replace our cowboy...no one...no way.

We want and need Imus back asap. Mornings are long and miserable without him. We need to laugh and listen to music again!!! We need Imus to get us through all this political bs...

More importantly our sick children and our soldiers need him. Imus is their voice.

Why doesn't CBS just get it over with and hire Sharpton in the Morning? Al (grape) Roker could try to read the weather, and a Special Comment by sportscaster Keith Olbermann, calling in from the apartment of whatever unstable, hung-over 20 year old girl who's drink he spiked the night before!!
Come over to supportimus & imustruth for more. PS: Downingstreet? You're really making it hard to be a liberal. Cynthia McKinney?

Yep, I surf msnbc at 3 a.m. pacific time just to see who that particular day's "Jokester Replacement" might be for that day, just to give myself a good laugh, then I move on to Fox or CNN as I for one of millions are still Boycotting msnbc/cbs/nbc until we see Don Imus back on TV on some channel, don't care which one it might be, but doubt it would be any of those three channels, because they don't have the guts to admit they did wrong by firing Imus, and I doubt Imus would even consider going back if he was even asked to do so.

Imus is the only one who can replace "IMUS". I was taught many years ago "No One is irreplaceable", but this is an exception. If you think "The Morning Joek" and a Sports guy in drive time on the Fan is MSNBC's and CBS's idea of replacements. Well they are sadly mistaken. It's like re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. No matter what they do they are all going down with the ship. Goog Luck, but when IMUS returns he will find out their are Millions of Millions people who are there waiting for him and welcome him.

Bring him back NOW please.

CBS and MSNBC are Afraid, these so called Chief Executives, don't even appear to watch the programing they put on the Air. They don't want Imus back on the American Airwaves, they don't want a mic in front of him. Everyone thinks this is about a soundbite "Nappy Headed Hos" but it isn't, it is politics Hillary Clinton is running for President and Don Imus was not a fan of hers...CBS and MSNBC,NBC are being turned into- get Hillary elected Machines...it is sooo transparent, most the time when I USED to watch MSNBC, it seemed they were reading straight from Media Matters propaganda. Americans are not as dumb as Network Executives or Politicians, think we are...It was a Markerter that took three words and saturated the American Airwaves with Nappy Headed Hos..they do it to us all the time...Again, they don't want Imus and Imus Crew back on the American Airwaves they are Afraid, I don't think they realize how powerful the Internet is and everyone alreadys knows the real story of what happened to Imus in the Morning...I for one am boycotting and I am NOT, repeat NOT voting for Hillary Clinton for President.
