The commentary on here by both sides is sad. I have personally seen waste but also many hard working folk who did put money back for a rainy day. Well the rain never stopped until the savings were gone. And many were not smart enough to get good advice, they thought they knew it all, so they even spent their retirement. Now they loose their homes, kids don't go to college and they are doing jobs at a fraction of the pay they were acustomed to, and then another contract and strike looms. When will they get the picture tuned into focus? The days of united workers in America is done until a revolution happens again for the American workers. Gone! So, do like your 70+ year old neighbor and suck it up and accept far less pay than you deserve for far more effort to build the empires of CEO's and executives. After all, he did, why can't you? How dare anyone want more out of their labor. The gaul of it...

Companies owe people nothing, if someone doesn't like it where they work, no one is holding the door closed. Freightliner employees think they are the only people in the county. Freighliner owes it's employees NOTHING.
