Good point, see your logic; however, most children in the system because of child neglect are children of lower income/non working, single mothers who depend on the system as their form of income. Funny thing, never see a healthy woman or man, capable of working that won't, live in government housing, receive food stamps and have at least three children in the system for neglect ever win parent(s) of the year awards. So, if you work more than 40 hours a week, that means you neglect your family? So, it would stand to reason that if a person doesn't work at all, then that would mean that they DON'T neglect their family? Strange logic.
BTW, working more than 40 hours is a personal neglect that one may feel down the road as a parent when they wake up one day and they don't even know their own children. Providing food, shelter, clothing, helping with educational needs is normally not considered neglect.
Allen, why are you using Waco's name?
