Who do you support for U.S. Senate in North Carolina in 2010?

Ted Cruz is grandstanding for tea party points for Ted Cruz. His own party members are against this insanity. If it even had a chance of working, it will hurt Americans in many ways. It will hurt the republican party. The vote is today. My prediction is that the bill will be sent back to the House of Representatives. If it isn't, Obama will veto the bill. There is not enough votes to override a veto. The whole thing is senseless, just like voting 41 times on the same thing. Junior High School kids would run the country better.

He's doing exactly what he said he would do, back in Texas.This isn't about the Tea Party, it's about how much this is going to cost.

Could be that it will cost more. I don't know, but I suspect that the only persons suffering major losses of income will be insurance companies and hospital provider monopolies. Every time I see a mega dog and pony show like this one I start to wonder what is really going on. If republikans were serious about costs and health care, they would have proposed alternatives. They didn't and the need is clear.. But it is also clear that we are presently being screwed to the wall by insurance companies and hospital groups. My personal recent experiences with double billing, triple billing, 200 dollar aspirins, fake services and every rip off you can think of by medical providers makes me want a change. From my perspective, it just couldn't be much worse than what we now have.

Here is what I heard on the radio today while driving: A family of 4, making $50,000 or less per year, with the subsidies would owe a premium of $48 per month for the "D" coverage which must be the lowest available. I do not know if that is true in the states like NC which opt out of the coverage.
