Whoa, whoa, whoa!!!! Isn't Mississippi one of those "right-to-work" states with lower non-Union wages and benefits (if any)? How could they be going belly up? Those states understand how to run a business.......without a Union. Say it ain't so....

Because, Dumbass. The unions up north have destroyed the auto industry, thus slowing the car sales, thus the auto makers did not need the seat frames that these people make. Oh nevermind...Us dumb as monkey rednecks don't understand economics....Sorry. Shouldn't have even replied. he he he he

We're not to the point in the discussion that this is a matter of economics just yet. Southern CONgressmen would have had us believe that the auto industry down south was an independent entity. Leaner, meaner, and better than the Unionized north. If we've destroyed the domestic auto industry, why didn't you just start selling to your non-Union neighboring state foreign auto makers? Oh yeah, thats right. There sales are down 35% also......:-( sorry about that. Maybe this isn't a Union issue after all. Maybe the entire industry is down. As your lean, newly shuttered non-Union plants woulf illustrate.

There one thing you fail to realize. The reason why the foreign auto market has directly targeted the southern states is directly related to the cost of Labor as well as tax incentives. Some how your Governor Jen can grasp the coloration that automotive companies being taxed at a higher business rate and them leaving.

Additionally, the union does nothing to promote efficiency. The think we are still back in the hay day when you could show up to work high or drunk and not be fired cause hey my union rep has my back. Sorry to bust your bubble but in today’s economy no one will put up with that, to be political "bull shit". There are evolutions in economies as just in life. The union is unwilling to accept that when times get tough you dont need as many people, or you just gotta take a pay cut. Its the undoubtedly mentality of "Living high on the hog". Well guess what, the hog just went to the Butcher shop and now its time to start living in the real life with current issues.

There is a bright side to this though, now that Chrysler is majority owned by the UAW you can get all of management to pay union dues as well, YAYYYYY.

UAW=Failure, by the way, they are back to work and are picking up contracts from foreign auto companies. They are actually getting ready to double their output as compared to when they were just supplying to Jeep. The UAW os a perfect example of someone cutting their nose off to spite their face. By the way, the last person to leave Missagain I mean Michigan, please turn the light off. The sad part about it all is that it really is sad that yall caused the failure, when the economy was good GM and Chrysler were about to cope with the horrible contracts that the UAW demanded, not anymore. I think they should have just went bankrupt and sent the Union packing, that didn't happen because the UAW was a bunch of Obama voters so he stepped it up and made it worse. Have fun negotiating your next contract with yourself.
