Well, almost a year exactly and I finally found a more reliable and legitimate internet provider. Charter offers internet 25mb/s + digital phone service for $80. NuLink 9mb internet alone was approx. $60 dollars and the quality was laughable. Goodbye NuLink, you will slowly but surely fail.

The HBO GO app launched in May. Its now September and NuLink still has not become an authorised provider. I am fed up with not being able to use a feature that should be available to me. Who else is sick of waiting on a low rent service provider?

This company is awful. I'm paying for 6 Mbps, and am barely getting 1.5. Get it together or I'm going with charter.

Terrible customer service, long holds, no replies to e-mails, billing errors, etc. We have had every one of these problems with this company. And FYI... don't use their phone service! God forbid you have an emergency and need access to the phone records. It takes them DAYS!!! Never had any problems when it was just plain old Newnan Utilities. NuLink, why do you stink?

You guys really should go to the Better Business Bureau. They have these guys listed with an A- Rating, with the reviews you guys give, they should have like a C or D. I'm going to try to get a higher speed DSL connection rather than this podunk mess. Communities think they're doing their residents a favor by having a local utility do something like cable and internet, but they don't have the resources to bring quality service. The city of Newnan should step in and bring a real service provider in the area.

Nulink is a monopoly in my area. Wish I had other options as their Internet speed barely go over 2.5MB when I pay for 6MB.

Nulink is horrible. They do not give what they offer, our internet is supposed to be running at 3mbps right now its only running at .031 MBPS which is slower then a 28.8k Dial up modem. They claim they have it fixed but its not, My router is a $300 Cisco wireless N router with capability of up to one 1tb. Its not my router or equipment its the capability of a horrible company with a horrible ability to supply and take care of its customers. If you are thinking Nulink stop and just go with at&t or comcast or anyother for the price you dont get what they claim to give you. I understand server lagg but i shouldn't be paying 50 a month for something that runs slower then 28.8kbps. Seriously 2 months of that is ridiculous , Nulink can go to hell.

I was with Newn Util for ages and then along came NuSink, erm I mean NuLink. I only stuck with them for about 2 years as I was like Mark, my internet speeds would drop to below 1 mbps each night and during the day kind of close to 3 mbps. Their prices increased almost $20 at one point and I was like NOOOO way not for that kind of service! So I switched to Charter even tho I didn't really want to. Things were fine with them for about a year. Now they are trying to nickel and dime me to death and even though I've "locked in prices" for 2 years, each month I see at least a penny increase...well that was until this month. Now they claim a broadcast tv surcharge increase and so now we are getting those fee's crammed down our throats. I'm checking into Dish for cable tv at least because there are no other cable internet companies. I don't have a problem with Charter tv and internet speeds are ok, it's just their dang prices. Sheesh why do these companies try to rip us off with prices?:(

I hate this company. They are the worst. Their prices are way way too high and unfortunately they have the monopoly on service in the buildng where I live. I wanted to upgrade and add the full services but was told I would lose my promos so it would cost me a small fortune. They said promos are for new customers only. When I said they weren't very competitive, the guy told me they were a small company and needed to make money. OK so I should pay 3 times what I used to pay for comparable service in my old residence so your company can make a buck? Needless to say I didn't upgrade and I can hardly wait to move from here and cancel my services!
A very disappointeed customer!

If you are a member and want to cancel, you'll have to drive to their office (assuming they haven't locked the doors to ward off a band of customer with torches).
Don't make the mistake of dealing with them.
You are telling the Truth about NuLink.

Nulink is the worse. Their billing system is a rip off. When they say they are going to "pro rate" you to the new promotion, its their way of saying that they are going to double and triple bill you on your next months bill. They did that to me and I was finally caught up this month, so I made a partial payment and was going to get the rest caught up in three (3) days, well I got back from the doctors office and noticed that my internet was shut off, so I called their customer service, the girl was rude and said "we soft disconnect you". So that means, they just generated $30.00 extra dollars from you. Well damn, I just got the pro ration taken care of, now they want to get some more money from you. Apartment managers are in "coohoots" with Nulink when it comes to monopoly and not allowing other cable companies to market their services, because I would not have this piece of crap Nulink. People steer clear of this company.

Got me a ROKU (Online Streaming Device) last Month. The Internet is how Everyone will be Watching TV very soon anyway. NuLink days are Numbered. They took my Payment and put it towards someone else Account. They do have Employees that don't know what they are Doing.People watching TV on their Tablets and Cell Phones will be the End of NuLink. You can't beat Free Wi-Fi.

Hi all-

I'm the VP Engineering at WAGA/ Fox-5. Speaking of NuLink, can you please tell me how our signal looks/sounds on the NuLink system? Do our competitor's signals look/sound better or worse? Anything we can do to serve Coweta County better than we are?

Thanks-

Neil Mazur

The WORST company I have ever had for Internet and cable. My Internet would just stop working and the modem wouldn't reset back on. After 5 tech visits and no solution for the problem I cancel my service. Also because the managers here in newnan are just a trio of hillbillys with no costumer service experience. Chris, Rick walker and their boss William are the worst managers ever.

Let's see if I can list the problems we've had over the years ...

Had spotty internet, they tried multiple times to fix it, eventually got it "working" although it still varied widely in speed throughout the day.

Got our due date mixed up, regularly told us it was one day on our bill, we paid on time, then were threatened with shut off because their system thought we were paying late.

Upgraded our service without asking, added $20 per month to our bill. When we noticed, they at first refused to refund the original charges. After multiple calls got it returned but was told it couldn't show up until next month so I should probably pay my so called past due now so my service wasn't accidentally shut off, and then get the money back later. What kind of crap is that? Sounds like extortion, I dunno.

Shut off our TV cause they thought we requested it, which we did not. When my wife asked to have it reconnected, they argued with her and said we had asked to have it shut off. Then put us on a "bad" list because she got upset, and no one in the office is allowed to help us except a supervisor, which means we can't get help on weekends anymore.

Prices are crap.$50 for BASIC internet speeds, and $20 for BASIC tv, which is only twenty channels. OH, and the $20 is after a temporary discount.

This is what happens when a cable company has a monopoly in certain areas of town.

I gotta say, NuLink is pretty bad. I have no real complaints with actual internet outages, but the speeds are for sure terrible. The 6Mbs is way off. We watch Netflix quite a bit, and the speeds are never where they should be at peak times. I have also had HD tiling recently the last 6 months or so, and after 3 different truck rolls (one being the senior guy), a whole new cable plant at the house, it is still happening. So I finally am dropping them for cable TV and going with Direct TV. Which for this Summergrove community is your only alternative. Internet wise I have no choice but to suck it up for now until ATT can get in there, which is not much better anyway. I also work for a cable company ISP so I even know some ins and outs about them. And none are really positive. So I am on the Nulink dump train. CHOO CHOO!

When will ATT get into SummerGrove? Months or 12+ months?

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Aquarius

Watch out if you're going shopping, because you'll be tempted to splash out on impulse buys. This doesn't matter so much if you're feeling flush, but it could cause problems if you're supposed to be counting every penny. Whatever the state of your finances, you may buy items you don't need and possibly even won't like when you look at them again tomorrow.
