Not looking good at NOK.Still looks like 32 hour weeks for a long time to come. They say 40 but more like 32 hours. If the big Three dont put in more orders it want be a good year.
You get laid off and talk on here like me.Everyone needs to hang in there though.

What I can gather from sources salary paid people have nothing to worry about.Someone said they still get their time in.So who is to blame here? That is why the country is in the shape it is now.

I used to live down that way, and knew several people who work there-

Salary personal in a workforce is protected- these are usually the most impotant people with the most important jobs- while not layoff proof, they tend to be the absolute last to go- but are also the first ones asked if they can take early retirement or vacation time-

Some people will get a full workweek, because without their positions filled, the company cant function-plain an simple-

hourly people are always the first to go- hired to be cannon fodder- as long as there are more employees than work, theres going to be cutts-

Were going through this at our workplace now- eveyones waiting on the axe to fall.

The bottom line is all we can do is tell the younger kids to get a higher education. You might start off as a YES-MAN but more money and benefits go along with it.

I have to agree with you good old boys have been around for as long as I can remember but education will take you further than an old fishing hole. So children get an education and dont go try to be the (yes man) go out and be the MAN or WOMAN
