You asked for it wild bill - in your closing remarks in the newsletter you eloquently invited residents to "reach out to the board or committee chairs with [our] thoughts AND possible solutions".
You might want to post those thoughts on the "SummerGrove Issues" forum on the SummerGrove website.

You have to identify yourself there, but you could write that those were things you read on another forum.

Now Harley just because Cindy allowed you to harass, intimidate and threaten residents while you were on the board doesn’t mean you get to continue in your crotchety old man ways. Settle down and get back to the wilted flower helping Cindy bake cakes.

The Association will put a lien on your property for all the covenant violation fines you refuse to pay. I suspect that eventually they'd be able to repossess your house.

Whoooo Hooooo.... you are talking like one of my middle schoolers. "You're not the boss of me!" attitude. Seems to have carried over into adult-hood. You are a big boy now. You must have been a frequent detention student of mine. Calm down and go to your castle look-out window and relax.

Sorry but I KNOW the laws and your NOT going to SCARE me with repossession. A lien is simply put on a home for funds owed.As long as you DO NOT sell your home a lien cannot be collected. It can stay there for 3 years, which it must be renewed. You will have to find another way to play your games.. MAKE MY DAD????

Your version of an iconic movie phrase doesn't have the same affect.

MAKE MY DAD??? And you call us the dumb a$$?

Again, why am I wasting my time. I guess it's like a train or car wreck. For some morbid reason I stick around to see the carnage.

Third house on the left must actually be the first house on the right as you enter SummerGrove from the entrance at Publix. Take a look at the yard. The house looks like something this yahoo would take pride in.

I have a question and an observation. The question is how much does a non-SummerGrove resident or homeowner pay to be able to use SummerGrove tennis courts? Looking at the budget either the amount is miniscule or there are far fewer Non-SG people than I thought using the courts.

My observation – at last check no non-SG resident/homeowner is able to use the pools unless they are a gust of a resident or homeowner. No non-SG resident/homeowner is able to purchase a boat decal to put their boat in the lake. Park signs say “For Residents Only” which implies non-SG residents/homeowners are to keep out. You have to be a SG resident/homeowner to rent the Town Hall unless you are a friend or relative of a SG inhabitant. You have to be a SummerGrovian or is it a SummerGrovite to rent the pavilions at the pools. Social events are open to SG residents/homeowners only.

So why are non-SG residents/homeowners allowed to use our tennis courts if they pay a diminutive fee? Why are local sports teams allowed to use our recreation field for free?

Our association fees go toward the purchase of equipment, the maintenance of the equipment and the maintenance and upkeep of the amenities but outsiders are freely allowed, and according to the pm and recreation chair, encouraged to use certain amenities at little or no cost to them.
Where is the consistency? What am I missing here?

AMERICA IS A FREE COUNTRY.This person is entitled to his property also.He ownes the home and is paying his taxes, I assume, and he can do wwhatever he wants with his property.I also live in Summergrove.I think the covenants are also a bunch of made up, worthless rules.IF the so called "home owners association" wants to start spending its dues in lawsuits, I suggest you keep pounding on the guy in the first house on the right.Lawsuits cost money and put associations out of business because I dont think you want to go to court with someone over their OWN property, when you need to be worried about your OWN

ansley and turd house on the right must be one in the same. Both are in Carrollton. That's neither here nor there, but all this talk about law suits is crazy. SG is no longer an HOA. SG is a POA. This allows the association to bypass all the political red tape and jump straight to the good stuff. They get to pass go and collect $200, we go straight to jail. lol

So keep on, keeping on mr. hot shot!

This train has wrecked.

Nobody here except you is suggesting that due process isn't involved with covenant enforcement.

Whatever "goods" you think you have can't be worth much.

Well, let's see...Donnie and Debbie are probably married; we need to hook up SG Proud and Third House on the Left and little Ansley might do well with Elmer. (They seem to be on the same level.) They are all trying to get everyone's BP up with their comments. Ignore them or just simply be entertained.

Smokescreen, you better not be trying to fix up Ansley with Elmer! If Mrs. Fudd sees this, she will come knocking at your door with a rolling pin! On a serious side, yes, we should all ignore the comments from Third House.

I didn't sign any covenants and such when I bought my house so I am exempt. You people can take your manicured overpriced houses and try to MAKE me clean up my yard. You have all the problems you can deal with paying your mortgage that you work 20 hours per day to try to pay.You can't afford to HIRE A LAWYER.

Don't you know that Summergrove could be maintained just as it is for only $100 annual per address?- So when you foolishly pay your dues and think your benefited/priviledged by paying your HOA, which isn't even expensive, there is a group out here LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY AT YOU!! Brain cells. Sadly those can't be purchased.I want to watch the city try to demolish the 2 unfinished house in this DUMP.Its then, the city will be sued by the mortgage holder.Thats going to be a wonderful day when the city has to pay ten times what the place is worth for demo0lishing SOMEONE ELSES homes.
