As far as the weeds germinating, WG...coming from PM/Board...all you have to do is keep them manicured. You will have 3 letters in which to get this violation corrected. Do the math.

Math...What math. there's no need for math. A Violaton = letter???????

The problem is ther is no enforcement. As long as they are manicured the entire yard can be one big bed of weeds. Our covenants say something different. They refer to each lawn being weed free. The pm is afraid of a little work. The problem here like many responsible homeowners I pay for my lawn to be weed free. But because the pm/board refuses to enforce the covenants my constant barrage of herbicide is in vain because my jacka$$ neighbor prefers the au natural lawn. Our jacka$$ pm/board are failing us responsible homeowners by not enforcing the very documents that each homeowner signed saying they would abide by.
That’s a smart way of treating homeowners. Here we go folks ---its déjŕ vu all over again. Batten down the hatches …….morons on the board, morons on the board!!!
I know, I know same cycle, different year. Smokescreen, you ought to talk to the awful person that forces you to read this blog. You need to tell them you don’t like it. Try telling them we hurt your feelings with the things we say. Maybe they will stop forcing you to read it.
It’s amazing how people condemn and make snide remarks about us for our views and opinions, but they make the conscience effort to log on, scroll to the end and read the latest post. Who’s the idiot here?

Where is Sour Puss and Septic now? Appears WG answered your question.

Come move to Avery Park, they love to enforce the covenants even if they have to reword them to cover anything they like!

Hey Poo – If our posts on this blog are the determining factors that makes us a cry babies. I yam, what I yam. If complaining about the morons that ruin this community makes us a cry baby, so be it. If voicing our opinion about the idiotic decisions made by the board and the pm makes us a cry baby, then count me in the cry baby club. If exposing poor behavior, poor judgment and poor fiscal decisions makes us cry babies, give me my sign.
The reason we (I) complain is because we (I) care about where we live. Anyone that is in charge of $1.3 million dollars and gets pissed off because their decisions are scrutinized is hiding something. By the way, did Cindy and the flying monkey’s request the books be audited after they flew the coup to show they were on the up and up?
Unlike a lot of people that just pay their assessments each year and hope the pm does their job and never get involved or speak up, I do get involved. It’s those people that sit back and do nothing that are half of the problem. The other half being the incompetent board members and pm. Those that don’t get involved or speak up enable the poor behavior. They allow morons to act like morons. This is a prime example of the “silent majority”, wouldn’t you say Deep Throat?

I agree, who is the property management company in Avery Park? Maybe we should suggest our pm take a field trip to AP for a little ojt?

It stands to reason that some of CMA's property managers do a better job than others.

OK Fore, I have to wonder, why are you following the by-laws of the covenant's? Or are they not "soft on neighborly concerns?"

i try to, but sometimes I am working and my garbage can does not get put back in the garage the day it gets picked up. Why because I work over night doubles. But I still get a letter about it being out overnight. I guess them being extra strict helps my property values but the nit picking gets old.

Our board requires the pm to ride the property once a month. A lot of good that does. Then a series of poorly worded letters go out if the pm is pressured. Then everything is sucked into the proverbial black hole and nothing ever happens unless someone challenges the pm or board.

There is too much work that goes into making people do their job.

It’s a sad commentary when board members, past and present, feel the need to “protect” the association’s pm and management company. My first question is why do they feel they need to protect anyone?
If the job is not being performed to standards and their best is mediocre at best we should get rid of them, not protect them.
As with any contract I hope there is a cancellation/termination clause executable by either party. On the other hand Cindy’s group renewed the contract so I’m sure we are locked in solid for two years.
There have been numerous problems with cma and the pm over the years. Why do we continue to allow incompetent people to run this association? Do any of you realize things could be SO much different?
I’m certain either or both of the Hennings read this blog and they really should be ashamed.

I have purchased 3 homes in summergrove to rent as section 8.The homeowners cannot stop me because section 8 is a federally mandated program.IF the board tries to stop me the federal government will sue them under race discrimination laws, you cannot discriminate against housing. They have no choice.
