If he had been allowed to keep his job and the allegations are true he would be an unfit role model. In his fit of rage as the allegations go he placed others in danger also. Many times adults don't think of anyone except themselves when they go on a tangent. We are employed to earn a paycheck and expect the workplace to be safe. It is apparent if the rumors about the coach are true that he only thought of himself. It will be difficult to find another head coach job I would think in the future.

Tea Time, well said. I agree with all you said except his chances of finding a new job coaching. Had school officials been able to keep this story quiet, he probably wouldn't have lost his job to begin with. Sad but true, football trumps common sense far to often.

Selfthinker, I believe the school officials did want to keep the story quiet. I think his alleged actions spoke volumes and loudly and there were witnesses. He is a man first then a coach. If he could not use anger management in a school setting then how could he manage players and games with other teams? Is that your opionion of a coach that should keep his job and earn a rather extravagant salary?

Thank goodness the Gainesville Times had the courage to report the full story. The White County News never did report why he was suspended.

Another fine example of the White County wrag only reporting what they want and not ALL that is news.

One positive thing out of this is the Warriors were a great team before fired coach, and the new coach also helped them go in the right direction. Looks as though the former coach should have concentrated on his life and career in many ways. Sometimes encouragement, praise when needed and anger management is a winning approach! By the way you aren't going to see W C News really reporting are you? Would step on too many local people's toes that control it!
