So Abernathy was one of those people like Elvis that needed a pill to go to sleep with, one to wake up, one to stay alert, one to get things up, one to stay quiet, one to stay loud, and after that back to sleep. With the alchol mix what a man. Each day the same huh but with no method to the madness, what a life don't you think people? With all those injuries and weakened body he won't survive his first fight and encounter in prison wherever they send him.

Wrong again, "Wannabewrathfulapnea ". He was OK and didn't drink much when he took painkillers and psychiatric medicine as prescribed.

You did ask me what other medecines he was taking, as if you cared. Then you start this flustered old lady act when you get your answer...And I did ask YOU why Sam wasn't charged in the Coppermine incident, but you never answered.(It would aid communication if you'd stop pretending to be four or five different people.)

So, it's "Wannabemize"? You're sticking with THAT? I thought "Relives the Wrath of Sam" was best.

So, what happened at the Coppermine? Or are you too young to recall that, old woman?

It's really sad that you need validation so much, to invent all these separate identities to agree with you.

I am not "Survived the Wrath" but I was at the trial but not picked for that jury. I felt that it was more self defense until the end of the trial until Abernathy did not have enough remorse to apologize to his own mother for what he put her through.

So you tell me SLEEPER what kind of alcoholic, dopehead, psychotic person Abernathy really is and was he guilty of the stabbing that supposedly happened at the Coppermines?

If he did do two stabbings he deserves life without parole instead of life.

I am saying that there should have been a change of venue, and that there was at least one person on that jury who had comprehensive knowledge of Sam's criminal and mischief-making history, who had personal animosity toward some of Sam's friends, and who may have had recent reason to harbor a serious personal grudge against Sam.
Me again -- and NO, I haven't been writing under other names. I have a job and as much as I'd love to respond to all of these blogs, I don't have the time. As much as I think Sam belongs exactly where he is, I also think there is no possible way he could receive a fair and unbiased trial in Cleveland... But then again, who could? It's a small town and people talk!

Anyhow, I'm tired and I don't really care who asked so I'm going to respond to whomever asked about the Coppermine incident. This is ALL I know about that and if you need more information, contact Rodney (although you will need to know how to sign, b/c he's deaf). There was a party at the Coppermines one night in the late 80's. Rodney and Sam got into an argument, which then became a fist fight in the river. Rodney was holding Sam under the water and Sam pulled a knife and stabbed Rodney twice in the inner leg. Rodney wound up in the ICU. Sam's dad visited Rodney and his family several times over the course of the hospitilization and why charges were never filed is beyond me... If you don't believe this story, contact Rodney -- he still lives in Cleveland. As I said earlier, Sam is an unbelievable con man and has always been able to get away with EVERYTHING! I could go on and on, but at this point... WHY?

Abernathy pleaded not guilty and got life. McClure recently pleaded guilty and got 6 years. They are not sure what to do if anything to Clements a party to the McClure crime. So two down and is it 4 or 3 trials to go. Hart, Boatwright, Dyer and is there another? What is coming up May 22 in WC Superior Court?
Relation to Sam

Sam knew me very little.. which is pathetic. I knew Sam very well... through the many news headlines. also pathetic.

He's now serving his time for the crime he committed.. but I don't believe it is enough time. He obviously didn't serve the right amount of time for his previous crimes, and if he would have this innocent man would have never lost his life.

He got away with too much, and always had his oblivious parents who were and still are in denial to bail him out.

Well he's in there for good now. Whether or not he will ever have chance for paroll, who knows? Some say prison changes people for the good. Lots of time to theirselves to think think think. But not with this man. He's always on lock down in prison because he is so violent. In my eyes, this "man" is pathetic and he is where he needs to stay.

Again, I know EXACTLY what you too are talking about when you said you couldn't "prove" anything against Sam and the torment he inflicted on you! I have also gone to the police with hard evidence including video, audio and things he's left me in writing and NOTHING was ever done. Finally, I went to the sheriff's office with audio tapes and asked them to make a written report so that if I turned up missing or dead - they would know where to look! Sam Abernathy = liar, abuser, conniver, thief, sneaky, pot-smoking, drunk, batterer, prescription-pill-popper, system-rider, dead-beat!!!! His family and children are the ones I feel for.

You really hit the nail on the head when you said "recipe for destruction". Sam's the sneakiest, most violent person I have ever known. He's TORTURED (physically, psychologically and emotionally) his FAMILY, other people (strangers and acquaintances) and animals for the last 22 years I've known him. He's put people's lives in danger for much too long. The court system and the law have let down the people of White County, Cleveland and all surrounding areas where Sam has been. Sam has a very long history of crime including multiple DUI's, violent crimes against people and other crimes which would leave most people "under the jail"! The punishments he has received for any of the crimes he has committed is a crime in itself!!! Each and every judge who has seen Sam in court in the past should be held somewhat responsible for letting this monster out on the streets to wreak more havoc on others and now to take the life of another! Prior to this arrest for murder, Sam had 4 pending DUI's (he got them within a three day period) along with multiple other felony charges and was awaiting another day in court! His next court date and supposedly his trial will start November 17th.
You people just shut up quit making up stuff and exaggerating don't you people have something else to do besides exaggerate you people are idiots And will never be as good a person as Sam is so all yall idiots find something else to do.

I was a victim of Sam as well.He murdered Darrin before our court date.He broke in my home and got after me with a screw driver.Thank God for my neighbor or I could of been where Darrin is.I felt responsible for Darrin for so long because I couldn't convince the system enough about what Sam was capable of.They could only charge him with criminal tresspassing, because since i wasn't stabbed ,his intent couldn't be proven.
I am sorry for Sam's parents & Darrin's as well.
