Man receives 30 years for setting wife on fire

A man who admitted setting fire to his estranged wife was sentenced Monday to 30 years in prison.

Just because the judge's opinion was that Steve was "feigning" mental illness doesn't mean it was true! Steve wrote letters to pass the endless hours in jail. I've known these people since 1991. The mentally ill one is the wife, Penny. I am so afraid of her going postal one day,(she works for the postal service) and doing something more awful than she's ever done.

I'd probably be mentally ill and likely to go postal too if I was married to a man who thought it was a good decision, regardless of the reason; to pour gasoline on me and set me on fire.

yes tammy nelson you have known penny for many years but tell the truth why you would believe she may go postal is it because when your husband karl was out of state you where sleeping with steve you wanted to be penny so bad when she drove the sdchool bus you had to go to work there and try it to YOU FAIL because you yourself is also nothing but a drunk then when she went to the post office you also went there you will never be as good as a person as what my best friend is she is a kind caring woman who stayed in a marriage of abuse for the love of her children. whom she loves very much.now you let people know the truth the only reason you want to defend a man like this is because he was your lover everytime your husband karl was in alaska don't step on grounds your not willing to plow.

Tammy Nelson is also a want to be my friend Penny drove the school bus for years tammy wanted to be her so bad she started driving but then realized she couldn't handle it she was not woman enough .when my friend penny started working at the post office tammy went there but she still can't be as good as penny ..go ahead tammy you know so much about my friend maybe it time Karl knows the truth about you and steve thats why your afraid my friend may go postal is because of what you 2 was doing like when karl was in alaska you where spending alot of time should we say sleeping with steve .

That's what I don't understand?! My Father has never- ever hurt anyone in his life until this day... she was burnt 15% of her body at First and Second degree burns- He was burnt 50 % of his body at third degree!
If this would have been Her lighting him on fire, She would have gotten a slap on the wrist and be right back out on the streets again!
