roxy theatre rentovations

A Big Birdie told me rentovations are to start on the Old Roxy Theatre soon, a new rear wall to be built, then the new roof goes on! Way to go 25045 Group Hey Country Times will you write this up in your paper, since you gave the 25045 Group Hell!!!!!!!!!! over the Roxy. Remember!! we all have not forgotten. Best you put up or shut up, or do you need a bigger stick to stir.

Yea, I remember it well, When the Country Times editor went up on another building to take pictures of the Roxy roof caving in, ranting and raving how dangerous it was, so forth, blaming the 25045 Group. Well Guess what Sug?, the 25045 didn't even own the building then, it had never been deeded over from the Moore Family. Bet you didn't know that did you. You should get your facts straight and quit writing your opinion, you have proven yourself wrong many times. You really do need a bigger stick to stir the !!!!!!!!!! Whey don't you write an apology to the 25045 Group. You really should write an apology to the whole Town of Clendenin and it's Citizens for your incredgelous actions.

from what i understand it is being reopened and we are going to have concerts and art shows and movies in there. which is what this town needs something for us to do and for the surrounding areas to come here and have fun

Hey DC, It will be finished, watch the old School also. The Gym is being used, looks like new HVAC on the roof looking down from the hiltop above. Progress is being made!, I guess you missed the opening of the new EMS Station on the school grounds. You know Rome wasn't built in a day. Keep watching, don't say any words on here you will have to eat later like post #3 on here.

i am from clendenin grew up there and remember the roxy only two bucks to get in,before i moved it had closed down hope to see it reopen,i now live in in,and would love to come back home and go to the roxy again please email me when and if it opens thanks [e-mail]

When those pictures and story appeard in TheCountryTimes the old Roxy was a falling down rat hole that was a health and saftey risk to anybody who went near it and no one was doing anything about it. the pictures and the story were true. If I remember correctly TheCountryTimes has reported that work has begun on the Roxy and will report on the progress as it goes along. I myself hope it is a success and will watch and hope that the progress will continue. Time will tell, if and when it is finished it would be a good addition to the Town.

The other paper is also reporting on this. I think their reporting will be more reliable. If there isn't some negative spin on it, Sug won't bother with it.
