How about everybody report if the power-cable-water is on in what neighborhoods.

Please remember to check on your elderly neighbors and young moms with children. Heat exhaustion can creep up on people before they realize it, leaving them befuddled and confused. Hydration-water every half hour all day.

It's been hard getting info. Part of Pinch went down again last night. Clendenin seems to be doing ok now there's water with the power and cable.

Please check on your elderly relatives and neighbors. They can say they are doing fine but like with extreme cold and hypothermia, they don't realize it when they are getting in danger. If you are without power, try drinking water every 20 minutes or so. Seems like overkill but you are losing a lot of fluids through sweating.

Buck up, little campers, we'll get through this.

Most of Clendenin has power and water, there is still a boil alert in effect. I know that yesterday Krogers in Elkview was giving away dry ice to anyone who needed it with a five (5) bag limit.

Kanawha City and Charleston have lost power, according to reports on police scanner.

There are some high-voltage wires flapping around out there, so use caution while driving. Even walking too close to one of those could get you killed if it arcs to the ground and through you. Could be.bad.

I was in Charleston yesterday and there are still high-voltage wires down. Scary! But I also saw many crews working hard to fix them. They are working their butts off. So everyone, be careful out there!
