How stupid do you have to be to get rejected from a State school? Is this a joke? I always figured they let anyone in, which is why both clemson and USC are full of idiots and wierdos.

USC is not full of idiots and wierdos. I'm a proud graduated of the University of South Carolina and I don't think anyone would say I was weird and an idiot. Clemson, on the other hand, I can't speak for.

Nope. Private College where we didn't get grades for attending class, there were no shootings, the students didn't fall out of windows, and 97% graduated in four years. Sound familiar? Probably not if you went to a public school.

Private College, also known as if mommy and daddy pay for it, your grades will be at passing levels.

Clemson is rated #67 by US News and World Report. In fact, there are quite a few really great public schools on the list.

I went to a state school for my undergraduate degree. I graduated magna cum laude in 3 years. I went to Carnegie Mellon for my Master's. Many of my graduate school classmates came from Ivy League universities. I did just as well, if not better, than they did in our program.

Don't be so judgmental. I work with a lot of Engineers from VA Tech, Georgia Tech, and other public schools. They are normal (as normal as an engineer can be), and very successful.

That would be a "graduate" not a graduated...in the text that you used. Unless, you were tying to say, "I graduated from the Universitiy of South Carolina."

I just found out Monday that my son got into Clemson! This was his school of choice and I may be prejudice but he could have got into any number of schools. Valedictorian, graduated highschool in 3 years, and has a year worth of college credits completed from USC....an idiot he is not.

Okay so I'm guessing you are a spoiled, rich kid. Just to be clear, both USC and Clemson are ranked as top Universities of the country. Three of my cousins, and my godmother all graduated from Clemson or USC. Three continued into medical school and another is in law school. Before you go bad mouthing state schools maybe you should actually learn facts about them. Not everyone has private education opportunities. Some kids are smart enough to get in, but can't afford the tuition.
