Probably forgot to use her turn signal, so the cyclists had no way of knowing where she'd turn.

Well, at 32 I would think a woman would have enough wisdom, to stop and take care of calling 911, and render some type of aid, and certainly report her failure to LOOK, or see before turning and hitting the two men who were riding with a group of cyclists in the early evening on Thursday. Shame on you Kelly Dillon Sherman, I hope the judge socks it to you, just like you did to those to innocent cyclists in your car. How dare you not stop, and park your car at a rental house later in the night. You will get our day in court, and I hope the 2 men you hit, are able to be there too. But not knowing the circumstances of their injuries, they should sew the pants off of you Ms. Sherman ... what if you had killed them, would you have left the state?

You would think these damn cyclists would have enough sense to get off the road and onto the sidewalks. I am sick of them!

Why would she render aid if she hit them on purpose...and if it was an accident then why would she be charged?

We need the same law as Charlotte.

A cyclist can't be on any road 45 mph or more. That keeps it better for everyone.

I don't know the laws but it seems to me that a hit and run is a felony !! If not, it should be.

According to the vehicle laws, bicycles have every right as cars on the road, they have to follow all the laws and regualations just like drivers do. It is as illegal for a cyclist to ride on a sidewalk as it is for a car to drive on the side walk so please know what you are saying before you advise someone to do something illegal.

I know this person. She has a long history of crashing cars! She's definitely the one who should not be on the road. She was probably high on something, as usual, that's why she didn't stop. This one is not the fault of the cyclists.

Just so you know, you won't get your wish, she never pays for any if her wrong doing, so she won't go to jail.

it's against the law to ride on the sidewalks, you moron. sidewalks are for pedestrians & bicicles are made for the road. learn the law.

wtf?where are you coming from? if you were at fault in a car accident, you would be charged, even though you didn't do it on purpose. where is the logic in your statement? the stupidity of people nowadays never ceases to amaze me.

@yes: Last weekend I was driving down old G'boro Rd and I came up on a cyclist in a curve. Traffic was in the other lane. He was on the extreme right side of our lane, just as he should be, and there was plenty of room for me to go around. I started slowing down. When he heard me approaching, he swerved to the far left, right in front of me, to block me from passing him intentionally. How do I know it was intentional? I politely tooted my horn, and he absolutely refused to move back to the right. What a jerk. He could've easily been killed. The cyclists that ride that road are some of the most pompous, self righteous, and arrogant ones out there. Mark my words, it won't be long before one of them gets whacked.
