The "animal rights" freaks will jump at ANY opportunity to attempt to FORCE their insane agenda on the normal sane people of the world. Tattooing has been a method of identifying pets and livestock for many years. It is much more "humane" than branding. Now I am thinking about getting my pooch a tattoo that matches one of mine or maybe a "PETA SUCKS" tattoo. It is hoped that Mr. Rodriguez will ignore the human hating PTEAphiles as all normal sane people should.

Always remember, PETA KILLS MORE ANIMALS IN ONE YEAR THAN THE AVERAGE HUNTER WILL KILL IN A LIFETIME.

Hunters should be tattooed to indicate their low social status..

Tattooing, or even branding, livestock serves a necessary purpose (now I know PETA types say meat isn't necessary but I don't agree). Tattooing a dog just for the owner's fun is abusive IMO. It's not like it's the number 1 animal abuse case in history, but I would never do that to my dog and I disapprove of that guy doing it. Note, I'm not saying a posse should be rounded up to lynch the guy, or even legislation written to make it illegal, just that social disapproval is in order. It might discourage other knuckleheads from pointlessly bothering their dogs that way.

If the dog is sedated during the process and cared for properly the discomfort is minimal. I have several tattoos myself so I know exactly what the dog would experience. The most painful part is the part where the dog would be sedated. For all intents and purposes, done that way, it would be no worse than the dog getting a series of shots at the vet. So how would that be abuse? Is it that you don't approve of tattoos? A week after it's done the dog won't even know it's there. Personally I think people who crop ears and bob tails are being much more cruel than this guy but those practices are widely accepted.

Who rattled your chain poopy? Something tells me you wouldn't know an excellent idea if it fell out of the sky, landed on your face, and started to skull hump you. The social status of people who place animal rights above human rights is called ANTISOCIAL. I'll give you credit where credit is due though, you just insulted about 40,000,000 Americans from all walks of life with one comment. Don't be an ignorant hater all of your life......
