Is it true, the park was sold last week and there are some big plans for renovation at the park?

A Chase Bank Executive, who is also an investor in Six Flags, purchased the park. The plans are proposed to get the Jack Rabbit rollercoaster working again, which will cost an estimated 1.5 million. They plan to invest 20-25 million overall renovating/expanding amusements and the water park.

The Jack Rabbit is to be torn down and possible the train to . The Shooting Star and Chaos are to be taken down .Also the old arcade will be torn down , I hear they are going to build rides where the coaster is and a new arcade and where the other two rides where a new kids section in the water park.

The Jack Rabbit is to be torn down . Possible the train will be removed . The old arcade will be torn down and the same for the Shooting Star and Chaois . Where the Shooting Star and Chaois are will be a new kids section in Splash World and in the roller coaster location will be some rides and a new arcade.

"Falling Star" and "Chaos"

Rumors fly worse around here than they do IN the park itself...

Well hopefully it will be a nice change for a safer park. I had season tickets this year and saw plenty. The waterpark needs to be redone the bottom of the main water area is falling apart and takes skin off the kids if they fall in it.

Yes the park was sold. I live right next door to it. We're having a town meeting on Sept. 10th. All i would like to know is what are they going to do with it! if they are building a full size Six Flags, well then theres going to be alot of unhappy ppl, bc without a doubt an imminent domain is going to take place.

Also, sorry! lol, I cannot imagine a giant company like six flags sticking with a small 50 acres of land. When the smallest six flags is 250!
