Did he misjudge or did the driver of the car decide to be an azz and slam on his breaks???

Just sayin'......
You all know it happens! Someone doesn't like the way someone else is driving and they slam on their brakes to get the driver to slow down or back off.

you must be one of the riders that zip in and out of traffic and scare the living daylights out of the drivers around you that don't know WHAT you are going to do... and our only defense is to stop and get out of your way and let you kill yourself further on down the road. The way these kids ride these crotch rockets, they are just a number waiting to be added to the statistics.

I agree everyone should pay extra attention around bikes, but when is it the resposibility of the bikers to watch out for everyone else? I see alot of bikers weaving in and out of traffic, dodging cars or riding down the outside emergency lane. Bikers like this give law abiding riders a bad name!:(

First off, Drive like hell and your sure to get there sooner.

Second, does not surprise me about this being on 19. Most of the idiots out there on 19, follow too closely, sit right on your bumper at lights(so if someone rear ends them they will do the same to you), stop past the stop line at intersections,(that's the wider white line that you are suposed to stop BEHIND, that crosses all the lanes just before the crosswalk markings), changing multiple lanes all at once(you should change one lane then check again before changing again).

I avoid 19 like the plague only driving it when I have no other choice. to see people driving out there you would think they were running for the checkered flag, drafting off the vehicle in front of them, it's frightening.

everyone needs to slow it down, you are not on a race track.

or maybe the driver of the car was slowing for traffic ahead or to make a turn and the bike, going too fast did not have enough time to make corrections and hit the car.

I bet you follow cars to closely when you think they are not going as fast as they should. And if you ride a bike I'll bet you are one of those that weaves in and out of traffic.
