It would be interesting to know if any of the drivers were talking on cell phones at the time of the accident.

Seems the CPD does not enforce the law against talking on your cell phone while driving. I wonder what laws the CPD does enforce. One can drive for hours around town and never see a CPD , yet 70% of the citys budgets goes to the CPD.

My brother was the one in the Crossifre...he was not talking on his cell phone at the time of the accident. Apparently the trailblazer tried to make a turn right in front of him and the accident could not be avoided.

It would be interesting to know if some people have the ability to not make stupid comments.

It would be interesting to know if there was a child in the car. It would be interesting to know if the radio was on. It would be interesting to know if they were eating. It would be interesting to know if they had talked to anyone that day that might have upset them. It would be interesting to know if they had a healthy breakfast.

It would be interesting to know if this was just an unfortunate accident.

There wasn't any mention of alcohol being a contributing factor in this incident. Apparently the driver of the Trailblazer misjudged the distance of the on coming Crossfire. Problems with depth perception, space and time? I wonder if the police tested those involved for marijuana impairment? Oh, that's right, there isn't a road side test for the residual effects marijuana.

First off, I'm a Lake County law enforcement officer and regularly cite poeple for using their cell phones while driving. I personally know that other officers do as well. Just ask the right people and you will know the truth. Several of you bloggers are just conspiracy theroists and you perpetuate the problems in Lake County. Secondly, where did anyone get the cell phone issue from this article. It was never mentioned. Career bloggers...go do something positive with your lifes and make Lake County better for us all.

I wish I could believe that...However if you are on the force...You must know of the corruption and lack of accountability from within...Why has not one current member of the force came forth and spilled?...You must know that is the only way it will stop..
If you are not part of the solution then you must be part of the problem.

If you are on the force you are either corrupt or turning a blind eye to corruption. Either way you are not fulfilling your oath or doing your job. Be a leader and take a stand against your corrupt department.
