Has anyone else noticed the change in Billy Burger Land since Bill sold it ?
Such as the smaller portion sizes and higher prices and poor quality.
You used to get more than you could eat for a really fair price.

Has anyone noticed the cost of living is not improving? That is probably why the portions are smaller..besides if any one was wise about serving sizes....the portions should only be the size of a person's fist. The food is still good there.

Stopped going there when it was no longer Stromboli Land.

I don't wanna eat with 23 mug-hugging retirees complaining about every phase of life. When you're day consist of getting 15 refills of coffee on a 79 cent investment and taking up a seat for 5 hours, how bad could life be?

We love to eat at Billy's! The atmosphere is fun, the service is great, and the food is awesome and I think it is still fairly priced for the portions! They have something for everyone on the menu. It's a great locally owned business and we should all show our support for our local businesses!

I'm definitely not in Vienna, Austria although that would be a nice change! I'm actually in Philipsburg. Not sure why my location is Austria!

Maybe it's a sign from the Lord's paradise that you need to go on a diet. Just maybe...

Well there " Ding Dong " ..........maybe my weight has nothing to do with the drop in the quality of the food. Portion sizes aside, the quality has went to he11 and I'm not going back. Big or small.......I won't be spending any more of my money there !

Wow, that sounds like a disgruntled ex-employee if I've ever heard one. Must have been fired. Even if what you are saying is true about the hepatitis (although I have my doubts considering it sounds to me like you are mad because you were fired and you just want to try to hurt your ex-boss somehow), I'm pretty sure the "health inspector" couldn't do anything about it as long as their blood is not being poured into the customers open wounds. Do you know how many people world wide have Hep C, HIV, AIDS, etc? Those people work too. You would be surprised at how many of those people serve you on a daily basis and you will never know it. They serve food, work at stores, some are doctors, lawyers, and the list goes on. You sound really stupid saying something like that, but just on a hunch, I would say that you probably aren't the brightest crayon in the box.

I have eaten at Billy's Burgerland for many years. I have noticed the prices have increased, but show me someplace in this world that doesn't have rising prices. I have never noticed the smaller portion sizes, most times you get more than you can eat! And the quality of the food is better than ever! I know the new owners & their family personally & I know they care about their customers & their employees a great deal. To me, this original posting sounds like a pissed off ex-employee or someone who is jealous of the bosses daughter maybe? Either way I hope people realize how juvenile it is & it doesn't stop them from enjoying a great meal for a great price!

Boy, sounds like someone is holding a grudge over being fired? Maybe, just maybe. you deserved to be fired, which could be why you think so highly of the place. Just because someone fires you, they do not need to be classified as a bitch, perhaps you were lazy or a bad worker. I don't see this as good judge of Billy's Burgerland at all.

I worked at Billy's and was never "paid under the table", and my boss was a splendid woman who always offered to help when we got overwhelmed. I think the food there is fantastic and in the economy today, there aren't many places that you leave full AND with a take home box, are there? Some people judge Billy's from past prices, but that comparison lacks any foundation, as prices and minimum wage are no longer the same.

I agree that this may be a disgruntled employee but what they are saying is probably true. I am not sure about the IRS and who gets paid what but as far as the daughter and her husband, I believe every word of it!

Sounds to me the previous employee has a bug up their hoo-hoo. I don't know if any of this is true, but I have worked several places, and I know that it doesn't matter where you work, there is always something going on that shouldn't be. It doesn't matter how rich or how poor you are, shit happends and I don't think this should have any bearing on the business. I have personally dined here on many occassions and the quality of the food is good, the prices are comparable to other restaurants, and I feel the staff is very friendly. Bottom line, if you don't like the food, the prices, or the staff, maybe you should make some suggestions to the owner. I sure they would welcome any comments, as all restaurants are open to suggestions.
