okay I heard of buying bottled water in the city but what the hell....Dennys won't even give you a free glass of Clearfield tap water. You have to buy a bottle of friggin water so he can make money on it. Clearfield County water is the best drinking water in the state! Do you suppose his glasses are dirty? Or....is that place a rip off. You have to wait at least two hours to get food too. I guess they think they are above the local folks, say boycott it local people and see if he can survive on the jout of towners. What the hell.......the burgers suck too...they are all dried out and after two hours the food comes out cold. That place is really a has been.

They were on tv so they can do whatever they want. I stood at the end of the bar for over twenty minutes one night waiting for a drink from those snobby bartenders, waived money at them and everything. Granted it was packed, maybe didn't see me, but damn! They lost my business months ago.

My friend and I were there Monday night and he got dinner. It only took him about 20 minutes to get his food. No complaints here. Service at the bar from the bartenders was fine too.

I never had a complaint when I was at Denny's Beer Barrel pub I dont see why all the hate for and another thing Local employee, were you there when they were busy? So what if one glass is dirty just ask them to take it back and get a new one. There is a thing called your mouth, so speak up when your there, also who cares where the water comes from water is water. Sounds to me a bunch of sour grapes cause they were probably busy that night and just wants attention and to make a big stink about it.

Hae had dinner there many times over the years. yes, service was slow, but that is because they are usually very busy. Food was always good. Also hot. Servers were attentive and doing the best they could within the contraints of being busy. Parking lot is always packed. Personally I do not care for the owners, but do respect that they have built one heck of a business.

Do any of you remember the hole in the wall he started with on Daisy Street? What a mircle change over from that to the facility they have now. Must be doing something right. Parking lot is always full. Have met people there from 50 to 300 miles away. Have seen articles in the Fort Myers News Press about them.

Those once-a-decade trips to Denny's must be a special event for you, however, it's not likely he'll go out of business if you didn't come back.

This will work out well for both sides. You don't have to cry over two dollars and he can have a table open for his regular patrons and tourists.

are you really that stupid that you can't even comprehend my comment on bottled water. Have someone read my message and explain it to you. Moron..you don't GET a glass of water at Dennys. He SELLs you botted water to MAKE MONEY ON WATER. Our Clearfield water is the best drinking water in the state. Get it now? They should serve you a free glass of water. he makes enough money on the food he charges nd arm and a leg for.

Just curious... Where is it written that you are owed a free glass of water? Most decent Resturants charge for tap water anymore, as well they should. In a busy establishment such as Denny's, the last thing a waitress needs is to keep refilling someone's water who was too cheap to buy a real drink.

no where else in clearfield refuses to give you a glass of free water, and again, our water in Clearfield is the best drinking water around. NO OTHER EATING PLACE IN CLEARFIELD CHARGES FOR WATER.

I eat out all the time. Even McDonald's will give you a free glass, well it is a paper cup, of free water. I do not know of any other places other than Dennys that charges for water. It is just a means f makingmoney on bottled water. hey....solution for you....get a soda....same price as the bottle water OR beer is even better!

So don't order anything to drink and just go in the bathroom and suck out of the faucet, you cheap bastard.

Better yet, take your food in the bathroom so no one has to hear you crying about water.

Where do you get that Clearfield's water is the best tasting around?!? It is so bad that Resturants get their ice from out of town than rely on making it from Clearfield Water.

If you like Denny's food but want it for 1/3 the price just go to the Smokehouse in Curwensville. The head cook and all the best staff went to work there. Most of the same food is available there now.
