ewwwwww I read some of these things! GROSS! Some things were minor but what really made me sick were some of the things in the ice makers and soda machines at Dingers, Hedges, Country Club, Ethans, Moena, etc. The inspector notes brown slime, black residue and pink slime! That is just plain yucky!

The ice machine seems to be a common problem. I wonder exactly where the slime is and what the pink slime is.

I think it is bacteria. It is funny that everyone makes fun of the chinese restaurant, but they had zero violations...

The pink slime comes from the water in Clearfield. I'm not saying this is the cause, but ever since the sewer project came through, I get that pink slime in my sinks and toilets. I have used every product I can think of, including straight, undiluted bleach and nothing seems to get rid of it. You can clean it out fairly easily, but by the end of the week, it's back.
