Maybe he will buy the 1979 issue of High Society magazine that his daughter Candy posed nude for? Or maybe he will keep paying the legal bills of his drunk grandson that fell down an elevator shaft and now he is suing the state. What a joke this family is.

Yep, because Clearfield County residents are so much better off than they were 30 years ago. This man cares about no one but himself. Thanks for the Ethanol, Bud.

If he was any kind of man he would put it back into the town he is now mayor of. But instead he will try and sell their water

He's the mayor not on council . He ( the mayor ) would not be able to do it by himself .

You are all fools. He is a great man. Has done what he could for anyone who asked. Maybe you wanted more than what he could do himself. The ethanol plant failing is not his fault. Getty backed out of the contract, not Bud. He has served with honor for a long time. Perhaps you can take his place and do so much better and earn yourself a nice pension? Didnt think so.

I have no doubt that Mr Sankey will do a better job, as a plus he's not in it for the pension.

I'm favoring Sankey myself, but I wouldn't go as far as saying this. There are financial benefits for being "in" it. Without these benefits, no one would run. just my opinion. If any were in it for heart only, they wouldn't be setting their own salaries so high.

Sankey is not in it for the money, he did not set his salary. He wants people to be able to raise their kids here and to have families stay here. Look around half the people here never get to see their families till it is a holiday or death or wedding. I want my kids to stay here I want to see my grandchildren grow up here. But if it was me i would move too because there is nothing here anymore.

Don't forget any money left over in his campaign fund. Jacob George will be out of business in a few years without all the sales to local coal companies who bought trucks to keep Bud off of their backs. You really think that many people in the Houtzdale area keep buying new fords there?

Talking to Bud in private, he showed great concern for the working people of this area. Sure, he was a little rough around the edges and it is time for him to retire, but he really did care about those he served.
