Clearfield used to be an upstanding neighborhood. Then Pretty Valley and the trailer parks come in and it seemed to go to hell after that. Now you might get mugged ,attacked or just in the neighborhood to buy some drugs.I'd like to know what happened to today's young people. It is sad to see so many people on dope and wasting their lives to it.

Drugs are everywhere, not just in Clearfield. You might want to look at the people that put in the disgraceful trailer park. I bet they don't even ask for references before they rent to anyone. Thee place is junky with some trailers without underpinning. I have nothing against trailers because I used to live in one and I sure took better care of the way it looked. Maybe the people who own the trailer park should move into it to look after it better, thus being close by to see what is going on.

The paper said that they only arrested a couple of 1st time offenders. Anyone curious as to how they learned how to make it and who got them on it? I'm sure the real meth dealer is still out there.

First I want to say that I agree with you. I really do. This is true for a lot of oxycodone addicts.

But policing doctors is impossible. The session with a patient is private, no matter what. You can't just bust a doctor. Yes it's corrupt. But the corruption is not going to magically disappear.

Legalizing and regulating all drugs (some with a large 'sin' tax) would solve these problems to a very large extent.

If illegal drugs were easier to obtain, the violence problem of smuggling would be removed, and use (and abuse) of a person could be properly treated--not by sending the person to jail/prison on the PUBLIC'S TAX MONEY.

Too long; didn't read: Legalize drugs and make them cheap like cigarettes and beer. Put bigger taxes on the 'worst drugs', so that society is able to spend more on rehabilitation, and no more $$$ is funneled to violent gangs and drug cartels.

I know both of the guys and yeah I am sure the real meth cook is still out there walking around too and it's sad. They should take the blame for their own supplies instead of letting two 20 year old men(boys) set in jail. I will say that they had no business with the stuff but I will also say that I am pretty positive that neither of the two of them actully knew how to make the stupid stuff. Now these two are gonna take the rap for someone elses belongings and spend some of the most important years of their lives in jail and it's really very sad.

Yeah, it was some Rat that did'nt know what was goin on. U know what happens when the cops use Rats? They catch someone on a charge threaten to slam them if they don't give up someone. So, the Rat gives someone (a little guy, a nobody.)for a sweet deal. U know why the cops give u such a sweet deal? Cause they know they will catch u later down the road for the same thing or something worse and then they will slam u. If u are going to give up someone, give up the big fish and the little fish will dry up and go away. Give up the real problem. Not someone just trying to put groceries on the table.

It's so sad that people would risk their own lives to make sh*t like meth. Im not ok with drugs, but I'd rather see someone grow a pot plant instead of trying to blow themselves up...that just goes to show what some people will do for drugs

My sister has lived in Pretty valley about 30 yrs. when she moved there clearfield was nice place to live at and it still could be but most places there are rentals so the people who have lived there for yrs. get a bad rep. along with all the pill poppers and druggies if the land lords would enforce some tough rules and have leases they could improve the value of their property and be proud of their rentals.
