Who payed the bills when Clyde built a bridge ($52,000) FIFTY TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS for his newfew and after getting beat in 2006 by Jim Nickell he resurfaced his own subdivision that he still has lots for sale at Hemlock subdivision.($39,000) THIRTY NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS.
ALL OF ROWAN COUNTY!!!!!!!!!!
HOW CAN SUPPORTERS OF CLYDE THINK THIS IS RIGHT??????????
I guess it all comes down to whether you believe someones word, or if you believe documented facts. I choose the documented facts. That's all. sorry.

Good joke, bad example. We all have access to the county budget, it is documented online. It was less than 3+ million the first year Judge Nickell took office, and in just 3 years it was over 8 million. This is because of the new 5 million office building that is being built that we didn't "need". It is a nice building. I like the way it looks, but it is a luxury we did not "need" to put on our debt pile right now.

ahhh touche...but saying we didn't "need" a new court house is like saying YOU don't "need" a shower! sure, you could save money by not running water, buying soap, towels and wash clothes, but you could greatly benefit from it!:) besides that, are you saying that we should let morehead run-down and not develop new properties? hmm, interesting. Ya know, on second thought, let's do that, lets let morehead fall to pieces...good idea!
