Is anyone else upset about POSTUM being discontinued? I live in the Monroe area. Perhaps we can form a group to get Kraft to bring it back.

I am upset that kraft has discontinued postum. It is one of the few drinks left that is not bad for you. Why always get rid of the good stuff? I am one of many people who live in Utah that would like to have Postum on the shelves of the supermarket again. If you would offer it for a limited time each year, we could stalk up on it and buy some when it is available. I would encourage you to give us a heads up notice, before discontining a product. Please consider my request. Thank you concerned consumer. PS I am considering not buying any of Kraft products in the future to show my disstress at discontinuing Postum. Please consider offering it for a short time again. thanks

I am sure that there are many people who are now looking for a replacement for Postum. For those who are, I may have an answer. I have found a drink that many people have said tastes better than Postum, it has 2 grams of protien and 3 grams of carbs with only 20 calories in 8 ounces. It also has a ton ov antioxidants. For those who have religous opposition to coffee, this may be a great new product! If anyone has questions, let me know.

I feel as many do. I would be very willing to pay a higher price, within reason,
to have Postum back.

It is a new product that is just getting ready to hit the market. I have been able to try it and I can atest to the claims that the company is making. It does taste better than Postum and coffee. The only difference is that it currently brews like coffee. You can use a coffemaker, or french press, or esspresso. The cool thing is that you can then create drinks like Lattes or cappucinos or whatever you would like to create. It is also great iced.

Why stop making Postum? What you have to do is increse the price because Postum was too cheap. For me an increse of 500% is OK. PLEASE BRING POSTUM BACK.

So what's it going to take to bring our favorite hot healthy beverage back? There is no substitute as far as I'm concerned!

I have been drinking Postum since the 1950's.
I can't find anything as tasty and health for
me. I am going to protest to craft about
taking it off the market.

I've just switched to drinking molasses (one teaspoon in a cup of hot water). But there are three recipes currently circulating the internet. I've posted them here:

I am bereft of words...No Postum, what are you thinking of Kraft? And now we are resorting to figuring out how to make Postum at home - I certainly hope that the brew turns out favourably. Since you don't want to manufacture it commercially, would you be willing to part with the proportions of the ingredients that are required to end up with a brew that is similar to the commercially marketed Postum??????

You can find postum in Atlanta , GA at the walmart and kroger stores, you can slways call them and see if they will ship you a case, I'm sure they will do it as long as you pre-pay for postage and the cost of the item. My husband really likes this drink and I looked high and low for it and finally found it. Since we have friends in GA, we drove down an picked up 2 cases....!!

I now drink Inka, which is the closest I have come to Postum. You can buy this at health food stores, I have found it at Whole Foods Market.

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Sagittarius

You still prefer to be in a world of your own, in which nothing nasty is happening, but at least you're feeling a little more realistic than you were yesterday. It's a perfect day for visiting somewhere beautiful, peaceful or relaxing, or for going to the cinema or an art gallery. But it will be difficult to get up the energy for any prolonged Christmas shopping.
