That's just ridiculous! I've lived in league city for 8 years, nothing but goods things have happen around here. The kids have a safe place to ride their bikes at and fly kites at.... Fishing. The museum has activities going on from to time for EVERYONE. It's better than a bar or liquor store? I know most of the kids my son has grown up with since he's been in 2nd grade, a mutual meeting place is the museum/park. Most kids were very honor to meet Mr. Coburn prior to his death sometime ago 2 years ago... He told this kids so much history of the museum and the history prior to it being BUILT. The city even named a street after HIM. COBURN --- ONLY ONE IN LEAGUE CITY.

It's gorgeous and very peaceful. I've seen people jog and excersise their too, not to mention play football and baseball for teenagers. I look forward for a baseball field to come or even a basketball court!!! We are very blessed to have such a very important place in our mist of living...... It's in the Guinness Book of "WORLD RECORDS" and nothing but positive events going on. We as a community should be embracing the museum not talking down to it! Find something else to do with your engery and time wasted on complaining about the THE LONGHORN MUSUEM.

Agreed!!! I live on Coryell Street, right across from the grounds and love the things going on at the Butler Longhorn Museum. Activities served at this location, public and private are supported by all League City Council members and are grand to say the least. I wish all working members of the BLM well as they continue to grow and be successful in their efforts! I encourage any and all indifferences posed by our neighborhood friends to continue with their comments, along with giving workable solutions for those issues, as most are quick wins. Cheers!
