I like to refer to February 9, 1964 as The Day The Earth Stood Still, and I'm not far off. More people tuned in to the TV that night than ever before, and crime was way down during the hour that the Sullivan show was on. Even the plumbing was affected, with people waiting for commercial breaks to go to the bathroom. That day changed everything, for me and millions more. If I live to be 100, I'll not forget a second of the show (well, at least the opening and closing acts!).

It's exciting watching video of the Sullivan show, but I'm sure there was nothing like being there as it was happening, whether there live or at home watching t.v.
Mccartney proved on the Grammys last night that he is still the same rocker.
May he and Ringo live to be 100.

70.000.000 Americans became amazed by the power of the Beatles' music and charismatic personalities. What a day to remember. I'm sure Tooth could tell us more about it.

More exciting than the Moon landing, for me.
I laughed , giggled, squealed, shouted, cried,
wanted it to go on forever. Much more exciting than my wedding night,LOL. Long live the Beatles.
