How can he say that. Mike Bloomberg ordered the police NOT to arrest illegal aliens unless they had done something illegal or were wanted for something. That to me constitutes a Santuary city!

It IS a sanctuary city.
This is from a debate three weeks ago in the house.
"Mr. TANCREDO. Mr. Chairman, I yield myself such time as I may consume.
Mr. Chairman, this is an amendment that I offered many times in the past. It was actually passed by the House, I believe, in the last session. The fact is that we need to, unfortunately, run at it again.
My amendment would prevent State and local governments who refuse to share information with Federal immigration authorities from obtaining Federal funds under this act. These are so-called sanctuary policies, and they are not only misguided and dangerous, but they also are illegal.
Mr. PRICE of North Carolina. Reclaiming my time, New York City has a law on the books, for example, that prohibits the provision of Immigration information to the Federal Government, I understand. Would this amendment prohibit any DHS funding to New York City?
Mr. TANCREDO. Yes. The fact is if they chose to maintain this particular program, it would prohibit the funding."

Oh, and by the way, this amendment made thru the House, then the Senate, then was STRIPPED in Conference. Damn Democrats.
The bill is being sent to Bush this week for signature.

Both are hypocrite! NY largely depends on immigrants and yes it has been a sanctuary city for a long time! Mitt Romney on the other hand has already lost any Hispanic support, I even hear that many people are even slamming their doors on American mormon missionaries in Latin America because of his position on immigration!

Canadians and Americans must wake up to secretive agenda concerning illegal immigration from Mexico

The neo-fascist New American Union agenda the prime reason that U.S. laws are not being enforced against Mexico exploited poor

by Deborah Rob

You Canadians ought to be very worried. The Bush administration through its clandestine New American Union agenda, with the help of the money power, plans to absorb Canada and Mexico into America. I live in California and cannot get to this upcoming meeting but I suggest you get as many Canadians as you can to protest this event.

This is bad! It's bad for you and it's bad for us. Mexico (with particular reference to its elites) is the only country that will benefit from this. We are being overrun with their exploited poor and uneducated people. The corrupt U.S. government is not enforcing its illegal immigration laws because it intends to "merge" us, and now our middle class is being squeezed out because of that, outsourcing, and many other things.

They are trying to do to our countries what they did in Europe with the European Union.

Please don't let them! Fight this!!
No kidding

Cheap shot by that fraud, Romney.

It's easy to spot illegals in SLC.

They are the ones without 9 kids, not driving Suburbans, who don't have the thousand yard stare.

What a transparent fraud is "Mitt".

Do you suppose we can get "the actor" to weigh in and spray dramatic and withering vitriol on Romney and Giuliani, the fraudsters and pansies?

I for one will welcome the fratricide.

"Bring it on."

Guiliani wanted to make "NYC" an official "Sanctuary City." As it stands now, it is unofficial and has been run as such since Mayor Koch was in office. Guiliani went to court to do this but the judge turned down his request.

I would not vote for this man based on this very fact. I would not trust him to be strong on illegal immigration and believe he is a Bush clone.

But he has such high ethical and moral standards! He also believes in and promotes the strength of family values! He is also pro-life and is a rigid believer in the sanctity of sovereign nations. How can you not vote for such a staunch conservative?
