Hello my friend, I love Buddy Holly. And Valens, Big Popper too. Music didn't die. We lost the chance to listen to more great music, however. Their families felt the biggest pain. We have never forgotten them. Buddy was the greatest talent along with Elvis. I first saw Buddy on television, and the song that he was performing was "Peggy Sue." Although he was a typical guy with glasses, he had a magnetic appeal and he seemed very influential. He was just 20-21 years old and made such a great music. I love his music, he influenced the Fabs a lot. Especially on the vocals. John took many things from his vocal style.

Hello my friend, Greg,

It's so nice to see Buddy's memory lives on, even across the big blue ocean.
I have never heard a Buddy song that I don't like, his music is so well crafted.
Lubbock Texas is about 400 miles from me, I beleive there will be a memorial tribute there.
But as much as I love Buddy, I have to pay tribute to Peterson,Valens and Richards, they perished too.

Yes. Sorry it's not "Big Popper." It's Big Bopper. Jiles Richardson his real name if I can recall well. Whoever loves good music, I believe will love Buddy's songs. In Europe, the States, everywhere.

R.i.p. Buddy Holly, though today remembers the tragedy 50 years ago, it also remember all the great music.

Great music lives on, and so it shall.
