Marie G. Dighton

Marie G. Dighto was murdered in her home on June 4th and found on June 5th. It was a brutal murder. She was a 68 year old woman on oxygen. She couldn't have fought off anyone. They could have taken what they wanted without doing that. Someone has to know something. No one can do this and not talk about it to someone. Why is no one stepping up to stop this? If someone can murder so brutally, they will not stop with her. No one can be safe until this deranged idiot is behind bars or better yet dead. Whoever knows needs to speak up!!

I am with you on that someone knows somthing and is not speaking up about it yet,but thay will one of the days.Look at the kind of people that live in Talihina, things happen all the time alot we dont know about. What about Mishell who killed her??????????The cops coverup alot thay are just as bad as the drugers becouse thay are are doing drugs.Just look at ower town.

Yea little bug, you are half right, but I think you know more than you can chew off. It may take some time, but the OSBI will find out. So all you little bugs beaware of want is happening. Another thing about all the things happening in talihina, some of the things are realated and some are not. There are warrents out on people in Leflore Co. and Latimer Co. that no one does anything about until the person commits another crime, then they will be picked up. The people that are doing all the break ins and robberies in the BV area all have outstanding warrents. This all comes about, because of the drugs that are floating threw out the towns(Talihina,Clayton,Wilburt on), and the three counties(Pushmataha, Latimer, and Leflore), and our community. This is how it works, You have the Main Supplier, this is a very rich individual(this person may not live in our area). Then you have the middle people, these are the dealers(in which there is a lot in our area), then you have the bottom people, these are the people who buy and who are the snatchers. When these snatchers are caught doing other things such as robberies, assulting people, and they have outstanding warrents, well the police, sheriff deputies don't want to but these people in jail, because then they will snatch on the the middle people. And they don't want that, beacuse then this would be putting and end to a lot of drugs dealers, and the towns and communites would not be making any money ff them. How do you think these little towns make money for their town? Money that is not released to the public or at town hall meetings, and in newspaper articles. There is a lot of crap going on in our area, and I wish I could be in law enforcement, or a Sheriff for one of these three counties. There would be some cleaning up going on. I hate drugs, and I hate the people who deals them, and who buys and use them. And little bug, I also hate the people who commits these brutal crimes to incent elderly people, and young people. So be careful little bug, you don't want to ge smashed.

The OSBI is offering up to a $5,000.00 reward plus another $10,000.00 from the victim's family for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the murder of 67-year old Marie Dighton. The victim was found inside her Buffalo Valley home June 5, 2008, when the Latimer County Sheriff's Office checked on her welfare at teh request of her daughter.
Dighton was found inside her bedroom with a cut to her throat.

They had pulled in two men for questioning because a neighbor had seen their car at the Marie's mail box and then again in her drive way. Nothing ever came of it. Same as other murder investication around here.

They're probably originally from here. But I have noticed that the town under the name isn't always the town the person is actually in. The state is however. I don't know how it works, but it doesn't always match up.

The state is not always right either. It has something to do with your internet connection. I usually show up out of Colorado and that isn't right.
