The news story quoted a DTF agent as saying there is a sharp return or increase in the meth labs.
Well that's because the sheriff is pissed because he got spanked in the election so he give up on the war on drugs. Another reason is because the courts don't do anything with the druggies.
There have been many cases where the same person has been arrested for the same offense as many as 5 times before they get locked up for a while.
Sequoyah County District attorneys and judges are crooks because they want the fine monies and if they take away the repeat offenders, they lose the cash flow.

oh yeah look at em go. Deputies are are getting off the interstates and slinging the search warrants for fear of losing their jobs when the new sheriff takes over next month. Good try cronies, but a little to late. The fat ass lazy undersheriff is really in trouble.

Big Mack...
Don't boast too soon.
I had 10 times rather have a Philpot for sheriff than a Lockhart.
I grew up in this rathole of a place called Sallisaw but moved away for several years and when I moved back was I in for a total surprize.
The very people that was considered the SCUM of the earth when I grew up here are now the so-called "BIG LEADERS" of Sallisaw.
Don't know how that happened but apparently it did.
You just wait until that "cocky, arrogant, thinks he knows it all" gets in office. I bet you will be singing a different tune then.

Your right, the same scum has been controling the town and county for years. That includes the Philpots. Hey, so he got beat by someone that may not be much better, but the point is people wanted a change --- and are going to get it.

I've been around here all my life (60 plus years)
and I know what goes on. Apparently you have been away too long and missed out on a lot of the Philpot bullshit and his relatives being the drug lords of the county and possibly the state.
You should check in more often dude.

Welcome back to Sequoyah County.Sorry you don't like it here. Maybe should move away again or did you come back just long enough to vote for Philpot? Change is the name of the game and by god it's going to happen. So shut up crying.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aries

Don't get embroiled in a bad-tempered skirmish today, for it might turn into more than that if you aren't careful. Everyone seems to be ratty and argumentative, but once you let the first spat take place it's effectively declaring open season. Even though things seem out-of-joint, keep your lines of communication open.
