Don't you think relevant information is important? I do.
FYI coal is not necessary to any degree any longer. Natural gas is cheaper, less polluting and more efficient. You only want to keep coal because you are a racist. That about cover it? Any reasonably intelligent person would be in favor of natural gas over coal except for racists and those who make their direct living from coal. BTW I guess you've forgotten the Romney who was anti coal before he was pro coal? You see you have no leg to stand on here except for the racist one. Move along hick.

1. NEVER SAID OIL COMPANIES SHOULD DRILL IN NATIONAL PARKS. So that is a lie.
2. Prices go down when there is a "glut" of any commodity. The reason prices are down on fuel is because of drop in comsumption and a increase in supply the only thing that varies is speculation on a given commodity.
The liar is you.
National parks are public lands. Which you said you want to sell off. How many acres do you suppose you could buy? Oh wait, none, right? You just want to turn over America to the Oil companies. What I can't figure out is why? Unless of course you're just such a redneck cracker racist that you would prefer the Oil companies drilling in Yellowstone and timber cutting down all the giant redwoods before you'd accept a black president? That about cover it?

So you support a Satanic blood spewing heavy metal demi god and an airhead lesbian drunk, hit and run slut over a socialist? Interesting choices.

I'm starting to think you'd release Charles Manson if he claims he's found God, repents and will campaign for the GOP.

On the drilling thing. Why should an oil company be allowed to sit on a permit indefinitely without taking any steps toward drilling? It's not a bad thing that Obama cancelled some of those not used permits.

If I get a permit to build a house, I have six-months to get something started or my permit is invalid and I have to reapply. I gotta do something toward building the house within six months, and then I can extend the permit beyond the six-months. Why should it be any different for an oil company permit?

Obama told these companies holding these permits for years and doing nothing with them to drill or lose them.

BTW, the oil companies did in fact begin drilling and producing on some of those permits they were sitting on, and obviously those permits they began to use were not cancelled.

There is nothing wrong and everything right about cancelling permits that sit idle. If I had the power no private company would drill on public lands. I'd start up the USA oil company and make it a non profit and sell at 5% over cost to the American public and export NONE of it. The 5% profit would go to repay Social Security for the money stolen by govt and once the Boomers were covered the rest would go to the deficit. There are plenty of independents out there that would jump at the chance to make a living wage working for the USA oil company and doing good works. Let the Oil giants drill their own land and waters. They should have to pay their own way for once.

Doesn't change the FACT that on public lands permits were down 62% which your god Obama said wasn't true which means he either doesn't know what the F he's talking about or he's lying to the American public because he wants us to vote like IGNORANT BLIND FOOLS like we did the first time. Our hatred of Bush so big we didn't care to really look at Obama for what he is we were just going to make the repubs pay for Bush's war. All we did was hurt ourselves and our families and put America in a terrible position financially and further made our homeland less safe.

Things aren't better that's pure bullshit. Things aren't better in your state of California. You are facing billions of losses in crops, Prop 37 if passed will kill your california farmers. I think next year is heading for a crash with all the taxes which are going to be raised on everyone and that includes the middle class.

The point is you imbecilic jackass that you bring up cronyism as a reason NOT to vote for Obama. I bring up that BOTH parties do it and using your hillbilly logic you should be saying don't vote for either GOP or Dem but you don't do that. You ignore one which is worse than the other while neither are acceptable and you always whitewash your side. I say both sides do it and the one closest to the Presidency does it the most. NOBODY has EVER been closer to the Presidency than Halliburton. You do remember Halliburton don't you? The people who electrocuted our soldiers in the shower with faulty wiring?

California still pays in more to the Federal Govt than they get back from the Feds. Oklahoma pays in less than they get back from the feds. You need to worry about stop being a parasite state and California will be just fine. You see, we're TOO BIG TO FAIL. Oklahoma is not. You might just wake up one day and find out the federal govt has stopped paying back more money than you pay into them and in a period of 10 years you're back to driving on dirt roads. Worry about yourself bubba. We'll be just fine.

Nope, the oil companies had shown NO intention of drilling on public lands that they were holding permits for that were cancelled. They were sitting on permits they were not using. Obama cancelled some of them. Drilling and production is actually up because Obama has allowed more offshore drilling.
I don't know why you right-wingers try to dig in so stronly on Romney's misrepresentations. Permits down 62%, drilling and production up. Some of permits held by oil companies that they are not using were cancelled. Had NO effect on drillng or production. THEY WERE HOLDING BUT NOT USING THE PERMITS, while begging for more. Obama said okay, here are some new permits but I'm cancelling most of those you won't use.
No what was happening is they would apply for leases which the federal government would shrink the area available to the point the oil companies didn't feel it was viable to drill in the limited area for cost effectiveness. The far left of the democratic party which you and dusty are always quoting said they shouldn't have any new leases if they didn't drill on the public lands they already held leases on. Huge delays on permits being released for land the companies thought might be viable to develop. What was the statement Obama said to the coal companies, go ahead and open a mine but we'll put you out of business through EPA regulations and permits.

The far left was good on it's promise the articles in newspapers being written in Virginia and West Virginia clearly reflect how these mining families feel and Kentucky has also suffered.

Thats why South Dakota has done so well because that land is private land being developed.

I don't worry about you at all. But the american people suffer if farmers have issues in your state or florida. Think about the old folks living on a fixed income or those without work who have lost their homes and are hopeless to find another full time job. That bothers me as a citizen of this country. I hate to drive down some of the metro areas and see all the closed buildings that used to be businesses with employees.

Very sad. One more thing dusty, NO one is too big to fail. NOT GM,
AIG, or our own federal government. If the feds fail, California is doomed just like the rest of the states. You'll run to Costa Rica and I and millions of others will be stuck in this country which will be turned upside down, riots in the streets. Civil unrest that will make Syria and Libya look like a street party that got a little out of hand.

Then the lesson to be learned here is to stay on private lands and you'll be fine, right? Where is the problem? Nobody guarantees you the right to take out a lease on public lands, sit on it for 20 years and stop all competition which is exactly what they were doing and should be stopped from doing in a free enterprise society. You're starting to sound like a real corporate socialist.

BTW, your comments about Hugo - everywhere I went in several towns this weekend was just the same... what happened to the great state I left in 1982?

Probably a good idea to rein in the ultra rich right now because what you describe is exactly what will happen once the middle class is completely gone. And FYI we will be going to Costa Rica in just about two years to the month if all goes as planned. Do have a good revolution won't you?

There isn't a third choice dumbass. It's either Obama or Romney take your pick. I don't want to allow Obama near the WH again if I can help it. Romney will be given a chance, it's a mess of a job for anyone but he's committed to turning this country around. He can thank Bush for making a mess and Obama for making a mess much worse!

You keep talking about Haliburton. Where is Haliburton now? Working in China and 173 other countries other than the US. These countries use Haliburton because they are able to do things other companies can't. KBR as well. I don't have any ties to either company and I don't work in the oil field either so no need for you to make more false accusations.

I'm not surprised Biden's family is benefiting from Iraq are you?
We have soldier's families on food stamps and the politicians and their family members are living like american royalty off the dead bodies of our military.
