BEWARE, Talihina Elders! The little bald headed B#@*^%) Pharmacist In Talihina is a Rip-Off. He'll act dumb when confronted. I have to wonder how many elders he rips-off daily? I guess he can be a smart-ass because he doesn't have any competition in this little community / it's sad. We need a Walgreens in town. BEWARE...

Umm what did he do? This is a serious accusation to make without any information added. And, by the way we do not need a Walgreens in town, large chains do nothing but remove charactor from small towns.

The Lawson's are good stewards to the community. They donate to all the non-profits and provide a needed service to our community. I have always found them to be very helpful. We do not need a Walgreens. Good Girl is right about that.

OMG people, its Talihina Oklahoma!!!!! Walgreens would never build there, it would be like putting a Walmart in Nashoba Oklahoma!!!lolol Hillbillys wouldn't know what to do with a Walgreens if they had it anyway! And in defence of the "mad as hornet" lady, shes probablly right, just because the little local pharmacists helps a few out and pays a few dollars around the tiny little town, don't make him a saint, he probablly is ripping the elders off, thats the kind of people that will do such as that, I would be taking my business to another town, Poteau isn't very far from there is it???

With Poteau being about 40 miles away or 80 miles round trip and the cost per mile of a car being over 50 cents you throw away $40.00 per trip to and from Talihina plus at least 1 and a half hours of driving. Poteau also has more traffic lights!

Depending on how bad one feels they're getting ripped off......it's not cheap drivng out of town. You'd have to be paying quite a bit too much to justify driving 45 minutes to an hour any direction to get medication elsewhere. I'd rather spend my money on a hometown "ma & pop" store anyday as opposed to a big chain. However, I don't want to be cheated.

For those of you who do not know, a pharmacist has to open the business after hours in cases of emergency. This incledes opening on Sunday. What I want to know is what is meant by "Pharmacist In Talihina is a Rip-Off." What happened that would make them seem to rip off people. I have never had any problem with Lawson's, and I am in there atleast twice a month.

It is so sad that someone has such little respect that he would bad mouth anyone, especially on the internet. How childish is that. I believe that Lawson's is the best pharmacy one could do business with. My dad is on heart medication and he forgot to get it filled and they were nice enough to open on a Sunday and give him his prescriptions. If that is not customer service, I don't know what is. I would rather have a business that prides itself on quality of product and personal satisfaction copared to a store that produces cheap products with poor quality.

I agree, but still don't know how someone was ripped off.

Lawson's Pharmacy has always treated my family good and never ripped us off in any way! Keep your business local, keep the town alive. If you don't like Talihina so much move! Nobody is stopping you but I am getting tired of this forum being used for bad mouthing. Talihina is a good community to live in.

Yes there is a store in town but We'll go to Clayton for the pharmacy - that's a no brainer! You can't use the pharmacy at the hospital unless you have a CDIB card. Your in business if you have one.
