I agree smoking can cause cancer. While those who want to ban smoking blame smoker's and second hand smoke they fail to inform the public that Radon Gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer. If they really care about the public's health they should be trying to get all home's and buildings tested for Radon. For more info on Radon try this link http://mo-radon.info/

Interesting point No Amnesty. You can liken that to the line from the movie Jaws. The mayor was saying something like..."You say barracuda and people say 'huh, what? but if you say shark...'".

Thanks for the link. Jefferson County seems to be sort of near the high end.

At least their residents get to VOTE on it and it isn't forced on them by their Council.

They didn't vote to close the beach. Roy Schneider yelled like a nutcase and scared the hell out of everybody. Awesome movie.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Virgo

You're finally at your best after relaxing and catching your breath for a moment. Now that you're rested, it's time to do some of the things you've been putting off lately. Make a sudden appearance to surprise someone from your past. No matter how many new people you meet, don't forget that old friendships are the glue that holds the relationship cycle together. Keep in mind that a present doesn't have to cost much, as long as it comes from the heart.
