Why aren't any North Central High School players in these statistics? Because I know for a fact that we have players that have the and maybe even better numbers

Because the coaches have to submit the stats- blame your coach or Athletic Dir.

Why don't the Triton Central players get listed in the Stars' Area Leaders for FB? They are listed on the Digital web site for Passing Leaders (Martin 19th in State), Receptions (Johnson), Sacks (Beaty), etc. Doesn't the Star recognize where Triton Central is located? I understand from our AD that the Star takes stats from the HS coaches listed on the Digital web page and shows it on their web pages. Don't know why you guys can't get it right?

Why aren't the punting stats listed in order of average? The best punters are going to have the best averages, not necessarily the most yards. That honor will go to the punter on the worst team - because he gets the most chances.

Also, why isn't there a seperate category for kick scoring?

It takes a lot of time on the behalf of the coach and/or ath dir - to get the rosterthen the stats in - as you can see many teams are not represented!

whatever. when each game ends they got the stats right there in the pressbox. it's just laziness. there's an example of your taxdollars hard at work.

Do you really think the coaches care that the stats get published for all of you to see? Why should they? I wouldn't call it laziness, just priorities, and this rates way down the list. WOW!!!- your name was in the paper!!!

Well, I guess better the sports page than the front page!

Laziness on the part of the Star- couldn't they have some little intern with nothing better to do, call around to get the info from the schools? Why is it the schools responsibility to do the work for the Star? The kids performed, the statistician kept track, somebody from the paper can surely call to get the info- can't they? If they can't, is it really newsworthy?
