For those traveling 96th between Michigan and Meridian today,, plan extra time. many powerlines down and lots of tree limb and property damage. roads too narrow to accomdate clean up crews and traffic

I'm sure a storm like that would go over really well with the Super Bowl crowd in 2012.

Meanwhile, at Community North hospital, I held my then 20 hour old grandson as he peacefully slept through his very first tornado warning! Life is good!

Dear Global warming wanna bees.
If you have ever read any historical fiction or nonfiction, this is very common. Especially on the Great Plains. Blizzards come out of nowhere, when the sun is shining and the weather is warm. Look it up.

ON 34th and Georgetown Rd. the winds were so strong that the sign that hangs down by a wire was so close to the ground I could stand next to it and it would be at head level and I am only 5' 6"

Read the article dig-bat. There were two people killed when a mobile home overturned and another in a vehicle crash which may or may not be attributable to the storm.

Please don't tell Al Gore this stuff. He'll be heart-broken. Yikes. These events happen every few years. He just wants to make some fast money..........selling books and bad information!!!! Indiana is as safe as anyplace and better than most!!! Enjoy it!!!!
