How could one be so ignorant and negative when people's lives were adversely affected? That is not what Atlanta is all about, so maybe God can forgive a person who looks down upon the lives of others. Good grief.

Moron, from Kansas, stay there in your flat, heavily polluted, hate filled, backward and woefully ignorant state and we'll stay here. Yeah, I've visited that crap-hole you call home.

I moved from Columbia Missouri to Atlanta a few months ago. The city as not as bad and nasty as the Idiot from KC says. Everyone I have met or seen lately has been friendly. The city is well kept. I have seen Missouri cities way "trashier" than this. BTW Im white, so it's not like Im defending a similar race. It's a shame that when something like this happens. Some moron has to get on here degrading the city. A tornado hit downtown Atlanta with thousands of people were in the streets trying to find shelter. In missouri we got advanced warnings, these storms came on so suddenly even I was surprised. 2 People lost their lives which is very sad, but the good thing is would be that thank god more people didn't die.

I moved to Atlanta about 5 years ago after traveling around the WORLD as a military wife until my husband retired and he accepted a job here in Atlanta. Just like every CITY and every COUNTRY, Atlanta has its criminals, thugs, yadda, yadda. But, this place is by far the nicest as far as PEOPLE are concerned (Well, sometimes). The opportunities are so vast in the "ATL" and I love it here. If you don't like OUR fine city, then politely refrain from making derogatory comments about it on this blog and take either I-85, I-95, I-75 or I-20 and get on out of town. What happened last night with the weather was a horrific thing and for you to minimize what happened makes you a person to "dismiss". Go away if you don't like it here. I, for one, am staying right here in the good old South and lovin' every minute of it. It's a great place to raise a family. I love Atlanta!

After visiting atlanta and seeing the filthy smelly bums, blacks, and criminals loitering on every street and corner, I think the tornado was just God giving the filthy nasty people of atlanta a bath and blow dry. Couldn't have happened to a more crime ridden zoo of subhumans!!!

200 Firemen and 150 cops working with cleanup crews? No wonder the city is broke; I did not hear one iota about looting or crime during or after the storm in the areas with damage. In fact from what I saw neighbors were all helping one another and if you look at the pictures it seemed they were all working side by side regardless of race. Kudos to the people of Atlanta. I have to wonder what the overtime bill is going to be?
