"I think the two of them together would beat John McCain," said one Clinton insider, adding that with Biden: "In a week, we're not going to be talking about his pick, he's going to be right back where he was (in the polls)."

"I can't give you an answer, I don't think anybody else can," said longtime Clinton friend and donor Alan Patricof.

Personally, I feel Hillary has tried to make a concerted effort behind the scenes, with CNN, and other media forums, to make people think her supporters will not vote for Obama without her. She screwed her nomination, and now wants to screw his. I just feel she wants to make everyone's life miserable at this point. He'll do just fine. Hillary will have to deal with her life on her own, without thinking she is queen bee all the time. Her supporters will suffer if they vote for John McCain. I believe behind the scenes, she is trying to help John McCain in his campaign. She is aching to see Obama lose. I just feel it. She wants to help McCain behind the scenes. That's just the type of person she is. It's very sad to see the Clintons acting so badly. They don't take losing very well. They should've picked a different occupation instead of politics. Sometimes campaigns are won, sometimes they are lost.

CNN, learn to report the news non-biasedly! We certainly can tell you are focusing too much on a Hillary slant all day. The primaries are over. Maybe you should change to a FoxNews type of reporting, like "Unfair and Unbalanced". Shame on you. Reporting is not supposed to be taken personally. Mr. Dobbs, used to have a lot of respect for you, but even you are letting your personal "Hillary-favored" feelings out! Do all you disgruntled people want to see our country suffer for another 4 years with an out-of-touch Republican?????????

Joe Biden and most all of the "Catholic" Democratic politicians are "Catholic in name only". They are clearly out of union with the Roman Catholic Church if the support legislation that does not respect human life from inception to natural death. Despite all the hatred and rancor against the Church, defense of life is a matter of "faith and morals" and can not be changed. Joe Biden will play the Catholic card but it will reveal that he is spineless as a former defender of life and a typical pol who, when the heat is on, will try to ascribe that old perverted misuse of the separation of church and state. I think the "Catholic Card" will do nothing to draw observant Catholics back into the Democratic fold. He will only make the died-in-the-wool Dems feel a little less conflicted about not election leaders that support human life. He will prove to be a very poor choice, indeed.

John McCain has never understood that you can't teach a rock to fall up.
McCain believes that no hope today means less disappointment tomorrow.
