Hey genius reporters...it is a "flash bang" device, which is not illegal, nor are potato guns because they do not utilize gunpowder. The kid is clearly a dumb asp.

According to the bleeding heart obama supporters above...everything should be illegal....I bet they all have ADT protecting them...LOL "We sense an alarm ...Are you alright?" as a critter rapes and kills them while they wait for the local police to arrive rather than defending themselves and putting a 9mm slug in the critter's head.

What happened to the Constitution? A man's home is his castle.
They're using the school law to screw this guy because his neighbors don't care for him. Ethnic morons right here in this stank city of Philly fire off real weapons and fireworks that are equivalent of sticks of dynamite all year round and all night long and the police seem powerless to put the boot to these bastards because of the unwillingness of the so called minorities to go against their own.

One reason to own a firearm is to protect yourself and loved ones from people like this who obtain illegal firearms. If I did not own a firearm, then what would I do when he knocks down my front door and tries to hurt my family? Think about it.

There is a homemade weapon which is capable of firing a .22cal round. Single shot--not a revolver or automatic. These guns were quite popular with street gangs in the '50s & 60's. These were known as "zip" guns.

With copper tubing, wire, wood, and rubber I could probably make a "zip" gun in 3 hours.
