Clay County is full of academia.

The majority of people in Clay have at least a B.A. in mooching off of the government via welfare, SSI or other forums of social support. Another large percentage actually hold Ph.D.'s in this area of study. So, to answer your question, there is no actual work in Clay County.

And if they still feel they need to supplement their income , they open their own resale shop , reselling already dispensed meds in other folks names . And .......... if that doesn't satisfy them they just take what they want . NO morals , no work ethics , no desire to make something of themselves .
And for folks who are suppose to be on a limited income they manage to have more toys and such than a workin mans family does . So maybe you would be better off not finding a real job , just hook up with one of these folks and let them teach you the tools of the trade. Psh what a wonderful county we live in ........

why ??? So I can watch this cess pool of a county be taken over by people like that . I don't think so .I work I pay taxes I earn the right to occupy my home .I guess I must just have a big heart to stay here and supplement the lazy asses who don't want too do their part . Oh I guess I earned the right to speak my mind and gee since I'm an American I even get to vote .And yea I voted today .

Anddddddddd I hope West Virginia follows in the footsteps of Florida . Individuals seeking state assistance must pass a pee test , just think of the monetary savings .

Alright people. It was a legitimate question. I actually want to work to support myself, and not live of the government.

Sorry , not in Clay . Unless you want to work for the county and I don't even know if they are hiring . If things were to pick up maybe Consol . Check with Cindy Boggs on Facebook she said Key energy is hiring , she said she would even e-mail ya an application.
Good Luck
