SGT., I think you need to stop worrying about what everyone thinks of you and perhaps work on your grammar and spelling skills. I have read all of your comments and I truly hope that you are not as lacking as you present yourself.

Holding a position does not mean that you are the only one who can do the job, it simply means you are currently there. As far as doing your job or any other officers job, I think you are proving to us that most anyone could handle that.

Being qualified and able are two entirely different things. You see, there are lots of qualified people who choose not to do their jobs and then there are those who are not at all qualified by the standards but could out-perform someone at a job.

You quite obviously are spending a great deal of time "behind your computer" talking to all of us, as I look back over your postings. I am not hiding behind my computer any more than you are. We are all on here voicing concerns/opinions. I will not speak for anyone else, but I simply stated my opinion with what I see or have seen with my own eyes.

I know that it has been a long time ago that this blog was written,but I was just browsing the web and came across this,it brought back old memories,I myself lived in reidsville ga.about 20 yrs.ago,but I got the hell out of there and never looked back,you are right it's not just the police it's the whole damn town,there is a mindset there that still has the overtone of the 40's 50's and 60's, they still have that old cross the track mind set, both white and blacks,but at any rate it will probably remain the same until the old oligarch die off and industry finally reach them and the education improve in that old way down south back wood town.

you are right about that! i was born and raised here and these good ole boys make me sick! the police around here are just as dirty as the people they arrest! it's time for change and as you said, that won't happen until the older generation die off. i hate to say it, but i'm so ready for that change!!!

I live outside Reidsville, been here since '85. Back during the '90's both the Sheriff and Police Cheif had their heads parked up their butts. Its a new ballgame here since Sheriff Rush and Chief Sharpe took over. As a former Hell Raiser, I have no problems going about Town, or County. As long as you don't give them grief they don't bother you. Matter of fact, I have been given a couple of breaks where a ticket was justified. I'm glad the LEO's we have now are better than those in Pembroke...
