does the store ever get fresh bread or produce???? I have yet to buy a fresh loaf of bread or buy lettuce that is not brown in between the leafs. other stores seem to have fresh items why can't this one. I guess the old stuff may cost the store less but we still pay full price.

yeah i bought bread friday and saturday my bread was moded and the bread cost 79 cents a loaf .

people complain a lot about Wallace & Owens prices, they are usually higher than Town & Country on most items, but,at the same time, their products are fresher, bread and produce.I would rather pay a little more and get better quality for my family.the price of milk and eggs has gotten out of control everywhere.

No it may not be Johns fault about the produce and such being bad, but he should do something about his employees being rude to customers. You can't get a carry out hardly they are too busy talking down the aisles in big groups. When Robert was there he at least made them do some stuff.

John may be nice to you while you are in the store but when you leave, just like his employees, talks about everyone. And yes it is Johns fault that the produce and bread is the way it is he is the manager of the store which makes him responsible for the entire store, even if he has other employees over that dept. As for the produce manager she has never keep her produce fresh or filled. As for Robert he might not have been the nicest person but i can honestly say he knew how to run a store.

You guys need to leave John alone, he is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. It sounds like someone may be a former employee that is holding a grudge. Well I think if you would have done your job properly you might still have a job. Don't take it out on John, he is a good manager and is doing all he can to make that store better. If you ask me Town & Country is a much better store since John took over.

Well I know for a fact that they gossip as soon as people leave. I was standing in line behind a girl and I have heard Sara and carryout talking someone as soon as they left. Jon has come up and commented on it too. How is that being a good manager? You should not talk about your customers. You should not let your employees talk about people either.
Karen would make a better manager than Jon anyday.

Yes I am this site and it is a gossip site. I am just saying they should not talk about the customers. I quit going shopping over there for a really long time because of some of things that a certain employee did everytime I walked in. It is not just me that she would talk about either.Everyone probably knows who I am talking about too. You could hear her talking about most of the people that come in there.
There are only a few people over there that are actually decent employees and actually do their job.

If you don't like shopping at T&C in Clarkton, then stay the hell out of the store, since you think it is in such bad shape. I think it is pretty pathetic that people have nothing more to do with their time, but sit on their lazy butts and bad mouth stupid subjects. I am a firm believer, that people can run their mouths all they want to behind other peoples back,which doesn't bother me, but when they are brave enough to say it to my face, then we can talk.
