Went in to try this new restaurant, sat down had some ungodly very sweet tea, while look at the menu the server came to me three times within a minute and half, with each time asking if i am ready to order, not even giving me time to look at it. While deciding, all i can hear in the background is loud crappy rap music. Which if i am going to pay $20 or more just for one person to eat a sit down dinner, i would prefer to go somewhere with better taste in music fit for a restaurant not for a nightclub. I decided to leave without even trying the food if the owners and management have this bad a taste in music for the customers to hear then the food has to be just as bad.

My husband and I went there last night with 50% of coupon let me tell you it was not worth trying with the coupon. I have better fast food. They had empty tables yet made us wait 40 min for table which made us miss our movie. We finally get seated and the food was super cold and oily. We did not eat anything. It is horriable save your money by not going there. It is not worth trying.

Not a good experience. We waited 30 minutes to get seated, they were short staffed because there were empty tables, we waited 10 minutes for the server to show up once we were seated, the hostess had to take our drink orders, the server brought us another table's order, then she brought the right order but never brought our salads, the chicken tenders were so tough you could not chew them. The shrimp was good and the spicy chicken pasta was good as well. But the service sucked and we will not ever go back.

We ordered Medium Prime Rib and Cajun Pasta. The Prime Rib had NO PINK, not the worst I have ever eaten but close. The Cajun Pasta had HOT DOGS in it for "sausage". Casey took good care of us and gave us 10% off. Michelle NEVER came to our table.

Tons of empty tables, 3 hostesses, 4 servers that we could count standing around texting by the kitchen and yet we were told there was a 40 minute wait. Once seated our server didn't have a decent knowledge of the menu. They refused to substitute anything on the menu. Nothing catered for kids. No menus, crayons or anything. The service staff seem constantly confused and appeared to go from take food from the kitchen from table to table looking for who it belonged to. The prices were reasonable and the food was good, never the less.

Stay away! Had to wait 30 minutes even though there were empty tables. Food was terrible; the steak was paper thin, chicken wings had little to no meat on them, Mac and cheese tasted like it was made from a box, and the sweet potato fries looked like they came from a frozen bag. Waitress didn't leave us alone for one minute, and seemed as if she had no sense of timing; we were in the middle of eating our meals and asked if we wanted dessert. The only upside was the price, however for what we got wasn't worth spending our money there. Subway or Sonic would've been better.
So very sad

I really wanted to like this place as it is super close to home. Unfortunately, instant mashed potatoes, half ear of corn, smallest half rack of ribs I have ever seen, paper thin steaks and greasy, slick floors it what we found. I did enjoy my super sweet cinnamon sweet potato fries even though they were almost burnt. Lots of empty tables, but still an hour wait. So very disappointed. I was really hoping this would bring a new variety of good food to exit 1.

After reading the other posts I will not be going here. Maybe its poor management however the owners do have other restaurants here in Clarksville.....let's hope they get their acts together we need a great stake house here!

If HOT DOGS in the Cajun Pasta isn't bad enough, BOTH my husband and I have had serious GASTRIC ISSUES since eating at Texas yesterday.

This is the worst restaurant in Clarksville and one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten at. The ribs were cold and the sauce tasted like it was from a microwave tv dinner and my "steak" (if you can call it that) was luke warm at best but that is only because my medium rare was far past well done. I have had thicker steaks at the Waffle House and they tasted better too. The steaks taste like they are boiled first and then tossed on the grill for presentation. The prime rib was overcooked and appeared to have never had any color in it to begin with and it certainly did not have any when it came out, even the second time. My son can make better instant mashed potatoes. The best part of the dinner was the green beans and that is simply because they did absolutely nothing to them once they came out of the can. They have obviously forgotten to ordered the spices and seasonings because everything is completely bland. I would rather eat at my sons school cafeteria. I will be surprised if this place makes it to Christmas. Save your money and go anywhere else.

For heavens sake they just oppened the doors and you are not even giving them a month to get into a better swing. all i can say is give them another chance and give them time to work the bugs out. i wouldn't want to be walking in their shoes. just give them a chance atleast it is a new resturant.

I came there to eat 2 times already & it opened Monday. I heard very good things about this place. It's very nice & new. All these people are not giving enough credit for the hard working owners. They've done incredible work. They just opened & I don't think anyone was prepared for it to be so packed for the first week. Definitely give them another chance! Their food is good, staff is friendly, environment is family oriented.

I love Texas casual grill, Harbor Cafe & Jade dragon!! It's unfortunate that most people only always have negative things to say for instance when you get a bad server your quick to complain and ends up on something like this but if you have a good server it's not brought to anyone attention.... So I suggest you eat there and decide for yourself. I've eaten at all 3 and had no problems what so ever. Loyal customer always!

I have to say that I read the comments and still wanted to give this place a try for myself. My boyfriend's Cajun pasta had hot dogs in it for "sausage" and my fries were lukewarm. There were not a lot of people in there but we did wait a long time.
I understand that they just opened up, but this is their third restaurant so they should know what they are up against by now. Also, I'm from Texas so I was excited to see this place go up. However, I am sadly disappointed to say that there is not anything about Texas in this place--not sure why they gave it the name.
