Vito's and El Rincon are definetly on my tops list as well. Minards would have to be my favorite for Italian. Dagwoods is great as well when your looking for a change of pace.

I can't beilive you guys like Minards, that is the worst italian place I have ever been to. It was very good 15-20 years ago but has taken a similar nose dive as twin oaks. I would take Raymon's any day of the week over Minards, especially the great value of pasta night on Wednesdays! I would also pay a little more to go to Oliverio's or drive to Fairmont for the place down by the river...the name escapes me right this second. Minards two thumbs DOWN!

I agree with the other two you named being good. Vito's is easily my favorite pizza place but i would not say my favorite restaraunt.

Depends on what I am in the mood for what my favorite place is. The Red Caboose wings are out of this world, The Parkette has the most amazing ribeye sandwich on earth, The steaks at the Wonderbar are world class and as good as you can get in any 4 star. I am also a huge fan of Shogun! El Rincon is very good Mexican and a cheap steal, and as I mentioned before Raymon's Wednesday Pasta night is the best deal you can get in this day and age for a great meal. When I take people from out of town there they can't beilive the quality of the meal and the price.

Razor, I have to disagree with you about Minards, I ate there over 30 years ago and it wasn't any good then.
Muriale's is good.

Kathys crotch is the best place to eat, kind of small, full of flavor, nice quite atmosphere, served with what ever you want to put on it.

I heard that crabs are the specialty of that place - all you can eat. I won't patronize the place because the continuing unresolved board of health issues. It's failed every inspection - lack of cleanliness and abundant creepy, crawlie critters are the main issues. My advice is to avoid it at all costs or, at least, eat at your own risk!

Yea but you can switch over to her bottom lounge, Mrs. K, rump roast is a feast in its own right. I think her chef use to live in Adamston, but he got fired, because he couldnt take care of business

Razor, I have noticed a change in their food over the years, but I still enjoy many of their menu items. It's a nice change, especially when your not looking for spicey food. I have never ate at the most of the other places you mentioned. I am kind of picky about food, so I don't go to places I am unsure of, lol. Vito's pizza has to be my Fave pizza place, other than Lil Caesara. I don't care for the though regular pizza, I prefer the sicilian, it kind of reminds me of Tuccillo's.

I miss The Canteen though.. I loved to eat their as a kid. They had the best BBQ I have ever ate besides home made!

Muriale's and Oliverio's are the best Italian. The Wonder Bar has great steaks and great Italian. Provence is a surprising treat for Clarksburg/Bridgeport. And of course a hot dog and cold beer at the Ritzy Lunch is just fcuking great.

Oliverio's for Italian. El Rincon for Mexican. Shogun for sushi & sashimi. The grill on my back deck for a steak.

Has anyone else noticed a sharp decline in the quality of food at the Roadhouse, especially the ribs and the steaks?

I ate there once, years ago. It just wasn't worth the price. The only steak I have found worth eating is the Bourbon Street steak at Applebees. It might not be the best cut of meat, but at least it's not bland!
