You mean that we did it without the help of Jerry Menendez and L.J. Maxey. If those two win you better hope you can afford the move to Bridgeport cause things will get worse over here if these two win. He has no interest in Clarksburg. All his support base is out of Bridgeport. I'm a small business owner here in Clarksburg and I cannot afford to take a risk on someone who has his interest in contrast to me and my family not to mention my property value. Keep it up Sheriff Morano I'm counting on you.

Hey Politics, it's Marano you moron...although some of his ideas like the SCAD are moronic. If you're going to support someone, at least know how to spell their name. Oh, and by the way...Morano as you call him, hates the Task Force; he's only swallowing his pride and reassigning manpower because Maxey is challenging his stupid decision to cut the Task Force. If no one had the guts to step up and challenge him he would still have no one on the Task Force. He's scared and he knows he should be. He knows nothing about drug enforcement and he sacrificed your safety to show his disdain for the Task Force. Wise up man, itís not about Bridgeport or Clarksburg, itís about Harrison County. You sound like a bunch of RCB/ BHS high school kids.

I apologize to the Sheriff for misspelling his name. I disagree with your claim that he hates Task Force. Question for you, with a man power shortage do you believe that it is in the best interest of the whole county to take from a depleted patrol unit. Having our officers out on back roads responding to 911 emergencies alone, traffic stops without back up. Have you seen video of an officer being shot on a traffic stop. I am a business owner so I have a lot at stake. I love Bridgeport but the residence there with thier high property taxes dont have the same problems we do. I'm not going to accuse you of being someone I offended from Task Force though your location is suspicious. You mentioned the SCAD unit was moronic. What is your beef with that unit or is it that you think your better than any non Task Force unit. Look I appreciate your work but with the knowledge givin to me. I have been told that you have years to complete investigations without administrators prying eyes. Great. But tell me how much man power is really necessary? You have at least 5 officers now in TF. Is there any more value other than the gimic of it to take from the depleted 911 responders. The Sheriff grants you officers your multijurisdictional powers but you say he hates the TF. If he wanted to he could tear the TF down and rebuild it if he had a personal vendetta such as your do against him. I'm sure Maxey has a great rapport with you TF guys. Look my point is if it takes years for you all to complete an investigation it shouldn't be to tough on you to wait to have however many more officers you want. Why not ask Bridgeport for more? There patrol unit isnt stretched as thin as CPD or HCSD. When I dial 911 I want to know a patrol unit is responding and he/she has back-up to keep us all safe. Tell the truth if a couple of you guys decided to go camping for few days would anybody notice? Ask a patrol unit the same question. Moron!

Also I spelled his name from the top banner. You show teeth like apes. Who besides someone from TF or the Maxey Campaign would pick up immediately on how someone else spells thier name? When all most of would have to use as a reference is the topic banner. Don't be such a moron. Be a team player. I know you think that no one else can do your job. We all think that way sometimes. Greed and Pride. Deadly Sins. Work with the patrol units as a team. My goodness if you guys wouldnt isolate yourselves it wouldnt seem so lonely with the 5 or 6 of you. Appreciate what you have. You have priviledges most officers would like to have. When is the last time you had to run to an emergency call? You have all the time in the world believe me we citizens know cause you take it. So congratulations on your successfull investigation. Good Work. Just dont take all the credit. I know one person who was not there to help, L.J. Maxey. Albert Marano was there.

Poltics is an appropriate name for you sir/maam. With your poor grammar, spelling abilities and poor punctuation....I am quite surprised to hear you own a business. It sounds like your "business" has a lot riding on this upcoming election. Afraid LJ Maxey is gonna shut you down or something?

Funny to be grammar checked on a blog site where such "words" as LOL, and LMAO were born for short hand. Sorry I'll slow it down for you. I have made my interest in this election clear. Yes, I am a business owner and my fear is that L.J. Maxey will have no "special interest" in Clarksburg or it's business interests. I see that my ideas scare some of the Maxey supporters and they feel a need to attack not my ideas but my grammar. I have legitimate concerns people. My family's wellbeing depends on the decisions we make. So yes my "business has alot riding on any election. I don't expect you to understand this but atleast I have reason to believe you can read it. If not next time I'll double space for you. Oh, here is on for you. FUDH!

The spelling error was actually a typing error made by me when I posted the news story. I quickly reviewed my work and corrected the mistake. Unfortunately for the first poster he threw up his comment about 30 seconds after I put the new story up before I recognized my error and corrected it. So if you assholes want to be the spelling police I am the reason he made the mistake.

I was in favor of a new Sheriff, something I was led to believe we needed. I was misinformed. After seeing officer menendez issue a ticket at a city council meeting to my friend for only speaking. In no way can I support Mr Maxey for Sheriff now. If this guy is his right hand man......The current Sheriff will have my full support.Thank you for the hard work.
Thank You

Im not sure why the Sheriff of Harrison County should have "special interests" in the Clarksburg businesses. Don't you have a local police force in Clarksburg? I am not a supporter of either party. I am a registered independant, therefore I let everyone pick their candidate then I pick the best person for the job; in my opinion. I just don't see how the Sheriff has any effect on your buisness unless you are somehow connected to law enforcement and their work (ie; criminal, defense attorney, etc). Thanks for calling me names by the way, and I appreciate you taking the time to make you post clear, concise and understandable and not using 12 year old girl text talk.

Of course. City residents pay property taxes to the Sheriff of thier county. If the Sheriff had no interest in the residence of said city's residence interest that would be taxation without representation. We are all in this together. I am one who believes that the press is doing this county a disservice by reporting Task Force information. Criminals should be in the dark on theses matters. The paper is especially guilty of this. These matters should be left to the men and women trained to deal with them. You clearly have shown a bias against the current Sheriff by asking such questions. Why do you think city business owners vote for there preferred candidate for sheriff? It effects everybody's interests. Reread your post before you cast your stones cabinboy. Besides grown folks are talking here. The sheriff of any county has to have a vested interest in all aspects of it's residence lives. You are just a boy so I hope you understand what I'm trying to learn you. If not leave these matters to the adults.
