Wow, let me see if I understand this correctly. This child, brought here illegally, by his parents who are stil illegal aliens; is the focus of a story about how the big bad ICE agents locked him up...where is the story about the kids and parents that live and work here with LEGAL status that never make it to the big colleges either!? Do some reading Birth Right Citizenship is the result of a Supreme Court Ruling UNITED STATES V. WONG KIM ARK, 169 U. S. 649 (1898)
It was a dumb ruling, lengthy as all get out and relied of rules established under a monarchy!

Exactly! Newspaper editors like the Sentinel's Don Miller are the greatest obstacles to having an honest debate on immigration, without which it will be extremely difficult to force our government to start being representative of the citizens of this country regarding immigration policy and enforcement.

The article portrays this as some sort of mistake. But half way through the article we discover that, if you were paying attention, this arrest was for cause.

ICE said the family had missed a scheduled court appearance and were therefore considered deportable and a flight risk.

Generally courts consider it important that you show up when you are supposed to. In regard to immigration, failure to do so and disappear within the country illegally is extremely common. In fact for years that is exactly what was happening at the border to non-Mexicans, a fact which became common knowledge and increased illegal immigration.

Nobody cares what you think, it is the law. It is amazing the bigoted stupidity I am reading here. Most of the people who rant and rave against illegal immigrants do so out of bigotry. THis young man is what in any country including ours a model citizen.
